Outward Hound Dog Life Jacket, Standley Sport XL, Reflective Flotation Support

Outward Hound Standley Sport is an XL dog life jacket for swimming, boating, and water sports, made with ripstop nylon and quilted polyester.

• Ripstop nylon and quilted polyester — built for active days in and around the water.
• Bright green and turquoise coloring with reflective accents — makes your dog easier to spot on the water.
• Front chest panel — helps distribute weight evenly for balanced flotation.
• Power mesh belly band — allows ventilation and quick water drainage.
• Adjustable straps and quick-release buckles — let you customize the fit.

For dogs that join you on the water, a life jacket adds flotation support during swimming and boating activities. The Standley Sport is made for energetic water-loving dogs, including experienced swimmers, while its design is also suitable for beginners. Choose the size using your dog’s girth measurement, then consider their individual shape when assessing fit.

What water activities is the Standley Sport made for?

The Outward Hound Standley Sport dog life jacket is designed for swimming, boating, kayaking, and other water sports. Its ripstop nylon and quilted polyester construction is intended for active use, and the jacket is suitable for dogs at different swimming experience levels. It offers a wearable flotation aid for water outings rather than a guarantee against water-related risks.

• Made for water-loving dogs and high-energy swimmers.
• Suitable for experienced swimmers and beginners.

How does this dog life jacket support visibility and flotation?

The Outward Hound Standley Sport combines bright green and turquoise fabric with reflective accents to help make your dog visible in the water. Its front chest panel helps distribute weight evenly for balanced flotation. A double top grab handle gives you a way to assist or lift your dog, and a D-ring provides a leash attachment point.

• Double top grab handle for assistance and retrieval.
• D-ring leash clip for attaching a leash.

How should I choose the XL fit?

Measure around your dog’s girth at the widest part of the ribcage and use that measurement to select a size. The Standley Sport is available from XS through XL; this listing is for XL. Adjustable straps and quick-release buckles help tailor the fit, while a fitting video can guide the fitting process.

• Consider your dog’s proportions, including broad shoulders or a long torso.
• Use the widest ribcage measurement when selecting the size.

What helps keep a dog comfortable in the water?

The Outward Hound Standley Sport has a power mesh belly band designed to support ventilation and let water drain quickly. This construction helps reduce the amount of water held around the belly during water play, supporting a lightweight feel. The mesh band is part of the jacket’s water-focused design, alongside its flotation panel and adjustable fit.

• Mesh belly construction supports airflow.
• Quick water drainage helps limit water retention in the belly band.

The Standley Sport is suited to dog owners who bring their pets swimming, boating, or kayaking and want a flotation vest with visibility details and a grab handle for assistance. Its XL fit should be chosen by girth, with your dog’s build also considered. It is a water-activity jacket for dogs, not a substitute for supervision around water.
