How does the Hide-A-Squirrel puzzle work?

The tree-trunk plush holds three squeaky squirrels for dogs to find and pull out. This hide-and-seek setup engages hunting instincts and prey drive, while the squirrels also give dogs something to tug. The puzzle encourages problem-solving and provides enrichment for hours of fun.

• Tree-trunk dimensions: 7.1 x 7.9 x 7.9 in (18.0 x 20.1 x 20.1 cm).
• Replacement Squeakin’ Squirrels are available in a separate 3-pack.

What kind of play is it made for?

Outward Hound designed this toy for both fetch and interactive hide-and-seek. Its plush construction and cozy stuffing make it suitable for gentle play, carrying, and cuddling between search games. Dogs can work to uncover the squirrels, then pull them out for a game of tug.

• Combines a plush dog toy with a puzzle activity.
• Made for dogs across breeds and activity levels.

How should dogs use this toy safely?

Keep play supervised because no dog toy is indestructible. Check the toy during use, and remove and replace it if damaged. This guidance helps owners keep the puzzle as part of monitored play rather than leaving it with a pet unattended.

• Stay with your dog while the toy is in use.
• Take the toy away if damage occurs and replace it.

Hide-A-Squirrel is suited to dogs who enjoy plush toys, searching games, and tugging out hidden toys. It brings a soft, carryable toy together with a three-squirrel puzzle and supports supervised interactive play.
