The Patas Lague Orthopedic Dog Bed is a washable-cover sofa mat designed to support dogs at every life stage, with egg crate foam and a 48 x 30 in (121.9 x 76.2 cm) sleeping surface.

• Egg crate foam — helps distribute weight and reduce pressure on joints.
• Soft fleece sleeping surface and waterproof TPU — create a cozy, easy-clean resting spot.
• 48 x 30 in size, rated for dogs up to 110 lb (49.9 kg) — gives larger dogs room to settle.
• Removable machine-washable cover — makes routine cleaning straightforward; the foam is not washable.
• Five size options and a 72-hour foam expansion period — help you choose a fit and allow the compressed foam to open up.

Dogs that curl up at home need a comfortable place to rest, and dogs with joint discomfort or reduced mobility may benefit from a bed designed to spread their weight. This sofa mat is made for puppies, adult dogs and seniors, in apartments and family homes, and for use in living rooms, bedrooms, crates or kennels throughout the year.

How does the Patas Lague bed support dogs?

Its egg crate foam is designed to distribute a dog’s weight more evenly and reduce pressure on joints. The bed is intended to support dogs with arthritis, joint pain, hip dysplasia or mobility issues; it is a resting surface, not a treatment. Soft fleece and waterproof TPU make up the sleep surface, providing a cozy place to curl up. The brand says this combination helps dogs feel secure and fall asleep faster.

• Designed for dogs at all life stages, including senior dogs and puppies.
• Made with safer materials and an easy-clean surface for muddy paws.

Which size is this, and what other sizes are available?

This option measures 48 x 30 in and is rated for dogs up to 110 lb. Five sizes are available: 30 x 20 in (76.2 x 50.8 cm) for dogs up to 35 lb (15.9 kg), 36 x 24 in (91.4 x 61 cm) for up to 65 lb (29.5 kg), 42 x 28 in (106.7 x 71.1 cm) for up to 90 lb (40.8 kg), 48 x 30 in for up to 110 lb, and 56 x 40 in for almost all pets. Match your dog’s size and resting position to the dimensions when choosing.

• Examples by size include Chihuahua and Toy Poodle, Beagle and Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie and Bulldog, and Golden Retriever and German Shepherd.
• The bed suits homes with minimalist decor and can be placed in living areas, bedrooms, crates or kennels.

How do you clean the bed and prepare it for use?

Remove the cover for machine washing and tumble drying; the egg crate foam itself is not washable. Because the foam arrives compressed, allow about 72 hours for it to expand.

• Wash and dry the removable cover by machine.
• Keep the foam out of the wash and give it time to expand before use.

This Patas Lague bed is suited to pet parents looking for an orthopedic-style resting spot for a dog that curls up, including seniors or dogs with mobility concerns. Its 48 x 30 in surface, egg crate foam and removable washable cover make it a defined-size, easy-care bed for home or kennel use.
