Patas Lague Orthopedic Dog Bed, 56 x 40 in Coffee Sofa with Washable Cover

Patas Lague’s orthopedic dog bed is a large, coffee-colored pet sofa designed to give dogs a cushioned place to rest, with egg-crate foam and a 56 x 40 in (142.24 x 101.6 cm) sleeping surface.

• Egg-crate foam — distributes weight to help reduce pressure on joints.
• Two-sided bolsters — offer places to rest the head and neck.
• Designed for all life stages — made for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs.
• Removable, machine-washable cover — makes routine cleaning simpler.
• Foam arrives compressed — allow about 72 hours for it to expand.

Dogs benefit from a dedicated resting spot, especially in busy homes where they may settle in a living room, bedroom, crate, or kennel. This sofa-style bed is designed for dogs who like to curl up, including senior or anxious pets, and its coffee color is intended to blend with modern home decor. The foam is designed to distribute weight and reduce pressure; the bed is also intended for dogs with arthritis, joint pain, hip dysplasia, or mobility issues.

How does the bed support a dog while resting?

The egg-crate foam is designed to spread a dog’s weight across the bed and reduce pressure on joints. Two raised sides provide support around the head and neck, with resting positions available from multiple angles. This combination is intended to create a cushioned, enclosed-feeling place to settle rather than a flat sleeping surface.

• Two-sided bolsters frame the resting area.
• The design is made for dogs who enjoy curling up.

Which size is this, and what other sizes are available?

This bed is the 56 x 40 in size, described as fitting almost all pets. Other available dimensions and suggested dog weight limits are:

• 30 x 20 in (76.2 x 50.8 cm): small dogs up to 25 lb (11.34 kg), such as Chihuahuas and Toy Poodles.
• 36 x 24 in (91.44 x 60.96 cm): medium dogs up to 42 lb (19.05 kg), such as Beagles and Cocker Spaniels.
• 42 x 28 in (106.68 x 71.12 cm): large dogs up to 70 lb (31.75 kg), such as Border Collies and Bulldogs.
• 48 x 30 in (121.92 x 76.2 cm): extra-large dogs up to 100 lb (45.36 kg), such as Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds.

Compare your dog’s size with the dimensions and weight guidance when choosing a bed. The 56 x 40 in size is the largest option presented here.

How do you clean and prepare the bed?

Remove the cover for machine washing, then tumble dry it. The egg-crate foam itself is not washable, so keep it out of the wash when cleaning the cover. Because the foam is compressed, give it about 72 hours to expand before use.

• The cover is removable.
• Machine washing and tumble drying are the stated care methods for the cover.

This bed suits pet parents looking for an orthopedic-style resting place for a dog who curls up, needs a cushioned sleep surface, or benefits from head and neck support. It can be used in living rooms, bedrooms, crates, and kennels throughout the year. Its egg-crate foam, two-sided bolsters, and removable washable cover make it a practical fit for dogs and homes that need a dedicated resting spot.
