PAWZIDEA Outdoor Dog Waste Bin, 11.7 L, Odour-Control Filter & Soft-Close Lid

PAWZIDEA is an outdoor dog-waste trash can with a metal body and 3.1-gallon (11.7 L) capacity, designed to contain pet waste between trash days.

• 3.1-gallon capacity versus 5-liter bins that require frequent emptying — holds dog waste between trash days.
• Replaceable 7.8-inch (19.8 cm) carbon filter and EVA gaskets — help contain odors beneath the lid.
• UV-resistant, multilayer paint — helps the can resist outdoor weather, rust, cracking, fading and heat.
• Step-on pedal with soft-close lid — lets you open the can hands-free.
• Removable BPA-free plastic inner bucket with a carry handle — makes waste disposal easier.
• Works with standard trash bags; 4-gallon (15.1 L) bags are recommended — offers a clear bag-size guide.

Dog-waste bins kept on a patio, in a yard or in a garden need to contain odors while standing up to outdoor conditions. This can is made for those spaces, with a fitted metal lid, a carbon filter and a weather-resistant exterior. It can also be used for cat litter disposal or in a bathroom or kitchen.

How does PAWZIDEA help control dog-waste odor?

The metal lid, replaceable carbon filter and EVA gaskets work together to help keep smells contained. The 7.8-inch carbon filter sits beneath the lid and traps odors, while the gaskets seal the lid. PAWZIDEA states that the EVA gaskets provide 20% more odor control than others.

• Replace the carbon filter monthly to maintain freshness.
• Replacement PAWZIDEA carbon filters are available from the brand’s store.

Can this dog-waste can stay outdoors?

Yes, it is designed for outdoor use on patios, in yards and in gardens. Its UV-resistant, multilayer paint coating is made to resist weather, rust, rust cracking and fading, while the can is also heat-resistant and designed to retain its shape rather than deform. The metal construction resists aging and can withstand high outdoor temperatures; plastic bins may warp or melt in heat.

• The fitted metal lid helps prevent odor from escaping.
• The pedal has a chrome-plated, rust-resistant finish.

How do you open and empty the bin?

Step on the foot pedal to open the lid without using your hands; the lid closes softly. When it is time to empty the bin, lift out the inner bucket using its carry handle. The bucket is made from odorless, BPA-free plastic.

• The foot pedal is designed for durable use.
• The removable bucket provides a separate way to carry waste for disposal.

Which bags and waste types fit this can?

PAWZIDEA recommends standard 4-gallon bags for the bin. Its 3.1-gallon capacity is intended to hold dog waste until trash day, rather than requiring the frequent emptying associated with 5-liter bins. The can is also suitable for cat litter disposal and can be used in bathrooms or kitchens.

• Use a standard trash bag; the recommended bag size is 4 gallons.
• The removable inner bucket can be taken out for emptying.

This can suits dog owners who want an outdoor waste container with hands-free opening, a removable bucket and odor-control features. Its metal body, fitted lid, replaceable filter and weather-resistant coating make it a practical fit for patios, yards and gardens.
