Its roomy interior is intended for pets within the stated size limits; measuring your pet helps you choose a suitable fit.

Which cats and dogs fit in this backpack?

The carrier suits cats under 13.2 lb (6 kg) and dogs under 11 lb (5 kg) whose body length is no more than 16.4 in (40 cm). Pets weighing around 6.6–8.8 lb (3–4 kg) are expected to find it more comfortable, while pets under 6.6 lb (3 kg) have plenty of room. Measure your pet before buying, especially its body length if you are considering it for a dog.

• Carrier dimensions: 16.5 × 12.6 × 10.2 in (42 × 32 × 26 cm).
• Dogs must be under 11 lb (5 kg) and no longer than 16.4 in (40 cm).

How does the carrier help keep a pet secure and comfortable?

All zippers have locks, and a built-in safety leash helps prevent a pet from escaping. The durable fabric is designed to resist animal bites and help the backpack retain its shape rather than collapse and press against the pet. Soft padding adds a cushioned surface inside.

Mesh on both sides lets air pass through the carrier. When sunlight is a concern, lower the waterproof sunshade to help block UV rays from entering directly. To help a pet become familiar with the backpack, place a toy or another familiar item inside so its scent is present.

• Side mesh panels support airflow through the carrier.
• The sunshade lowers over the carrier to help block direct UV rays.

What makes the backpack easier to carry and store?

The one-piece EVA 3D ergonomic backplate is shaped to fit the wearer’s back and is designed to improve breathability at the back. The carrying design is intended to avoid a pulling sensation and the need to bend down while carrying a pet. Front and side pockets provide space for pet essentials such as snacks, a leash, waste bags, or medical records.

The backpack folds down for more compact storage, and its padding can be removed for machine washing. The carrier is made with durable fabric and has no pungent chemical odor.

• Storage pockets are positioned at the front and sides.
• Remove the padding before machine washing it.
• The carrier folds for storage in a drawer.

Can this backpack be used for air travel?

Airline acceptance depends on the airline’s requirements for the backpack’s size. Contact the relevant airline to confirm whether it accepts a carrier measuring 16.5 × 12.6 × 10.2 in (42 × 32 × 26 cm) before planning air travel.

• Confirm the carrier size with the airline before flying.

Pecute Cat Backpack Carrier is suited to owners who want to take a cat or a size-eligible small dog on outings with a secured interior, side ventilation, and pockets for pet essentials.
