Pet Lodge Small Animal Feeder with Lid and Sifter Bottom for Outdoor Use

Pet Lodge Small Animal Feeder is an outdoor gravity feeder for rabbits, ferrets and other small animals, with a heavy-gauge galvanized steel body and a sifter bottom.

• Gravity-fed design holds several days’ worth of feed — provides a little feed at a time.
• Hinged lid — opens for refilling or changing feed.
• Sifter bottom — filters particles and dust from the animals’ food.
• Heavy-gauge galvanized steel body — rust-resistant for outdoor feeder use.
• Independent wire hooks — allow attachment inside a hutch or outside with some wire cutting.

For small-animal keepers, a feeder needs to make food available between refills and fit the animals’ enclosure. Pet Lodge combines gravity dispensing with a cage-mounted design for rabbits, ferrets and other small animals. It is compatible with most wire cage types and is made for outdoor use.

How does the gravity feeder dispense food?

The feeder releases feed a little at a time from its supply, providing several days’ worth of feed and supporting proper daily portions. Its hinged lid opens when you need to refill the feeder or change the food. At the base, a sifter bottom filters particles and dust out of the animals’ food.

• Open the hinged lid to access the feed compartment.
• The sifter bottom is built into the feeder to filter feed as it reaches the trough.

How does it attach to a wire cage or hutch?

Independent wire hooks let you attach the feeder inside the hutch, and the feeder fits most wire cage types. For a more convenient outside filling position, it can be attached to the exterior with some wire cutting. This gives keepers a choice of mounting location based on their enclosure setup.

• Choose an inside or outside mounting position.
• Outside attachment requires some wire cutting.

What is the feeder made of, and what animals is it for?

Its body is made from heavy-gauge galvanized steel, which is rust-resistant, and the trough area has rounded steel to help keep animals safe while feeding. The feeder is intended for rabbits, ferrets and other small animals. Its design is also easy to use and clean.

• Rounded steel in the trough area is designed with feeding safety in mind.
• Suitable for a range of small animals, including rabbits and ferrets.

Pet Lodge Small Animal Feeder suits keepers who want a gravity-fed option for a wire cage or hutch, with a lid for feed access and a sifter bottom for filtering particles and dust. It is designed for small animals rather than for use with enclosures outside the wire-cage types it fits.
