Carrying a pet through an airport, on a hike, or between the car and a destination calls for a carrier that contains the pet and can be carried comfortably. PetAmi combines a structured enclosure with access from either side, padded shoulder straps, and storage for outings. Its size is intended for large cats and small-to-medium dogs, while the stated 18 lb limit and your pet’s body measurements help determine whether the fit is appropriate.

Which pets can fit in the PetAmi backpack carrier?

The carrier is sized for large cats and small-to-medium dogs weighing up to 18 lb. Before choosing it, measure your pet from neck to tail and from the floor to the top of the shoulders, then compare those measurements with the carrier’s 12.5 x 10.2 x 16.3 inch (31.75 x 25.9 x 41.4 cm) dimensions. The structured frame is designed to keep the bag from collapsing against your pet.

• Carrier dimensions: 12.5 inches long, 10.2 inches wide, and 16.3 inches high.
• Maximum pet weight: 18 lb.
• Two side-entry zippers allow access from either side.

Is this backpack suitable for airplane travel?

PetAmi’s airline-approved carrier is sized to fit under most airplane seats, but seat space and airline requirements can differ. Confirm the current rules for your airline before flying. The two-sided entry can also make it easier to load or unload your pet in confined spaces such as an airplane cabin or car seat.

• Folds flat when not in use for storage in luggage or a closet.
• Reflective strap detail improves visibility during early-morning and evening outings.

What keeps pets comfortable and secure inside?

A thick Sherpa-lined bed cushions your pet, while breathable mesh panels allow airflow through the carrier. Reinforced zippers, an interior safety strap, and a buckle clip help keep pets contained during travel. The carrier is made from 600D polyester for everyday use, including contact with claws.

• Padded shoulder straps include chest and waist buckles to distribute carrying weight.
• Side pockets provide space for treats, a leash, and waste bags.
• A collapsible bowl is included for water during outings.

This backpack suits cat and dog owners looking for a portable carrier for travel, hikes, or everyday trips, including those carrying senior, injured, or anxious pets who may benefit from a contained space. Choose it for a pet within the 18 lb limit and confirm the fit using your pet’s length and standing height. Its structured shape, two-sided access, and included collapsible bowl make it a travel carrier with practical features for both pet and owner.
