The PetAmi Dog Backpack Carrier is a travel carrier for cats and small-to-medium dogs, with a structured frame and a maximum pet weight of 18 lbs.

• Fits pets up to 18 lbs and measures 12.5L x 10.2W x 16.3H inches (31.8 x 25.9 x 41.4 cm) — gives you clear size and weight limits for choosing a carrier.
• Airline-approved design sized to fit under most airplane seats — supports air travel, with airline requirements to confirm before flying.
• Two-side entry and a structured frame — makes loading from either side easier while helping the carrier hold its shape around your pet.
• Reinforced zippers, an interior safety strap and buckle clip — help keep your pet secured inside.
• Sherpa-lined bed, breathable mesh panels and padded carrying straps — support pet comfort and airflow as you travel.
• 600D polyester, side pockets and an included collapsible bowl — combine a hard-wearing carrier with room for essentials and a way to offer water.

For trips when carrying your pet is more practical than asking them to walk the whole way, this backpack brings a contained space along for hikes, car journeys and air travel. Its size and weight guidance helps you compare the carrier with your pet before choosing, while the side entry points are useful when access is limited, such as in an airplane cabin or car seat.

Will this backpack carrier fit my pet?

The PetAmi carrier measures 12.5L x 10.2W x 16.3H inches (31.8 x 25.9 x 41.4 cm) and is intended for large cats and small-to-medium dogs weighing up to 18 lbs. To assess fit, measure your pet from neck to tail and from the floor to the top of the shoulders, then compare those measurements with the carrier dimensions. The carrier is also suited to senior dogs, injured pets and anxious pups who benefit from a calm, contained space while travelling.

• Check both your pet's body length and standing height before choosing.
• Use the 18 lb maximum as the carrier's weight limit.

How does the carrier support comfort and security?

A thick sherpa-lined bed cushions your pet, while breathable mesh panels allow air to move through the carrier and help prevent overheating. Reinforced zippers work alongside an interior safety strap and buckle clip to help keep pets inside. A reflective strap boosts visibility during early-morning and evening outings.

• Two-way side entry lets you load or unload your pet from either side.
• The structured frame helps prevent the carrier from collapsing onto your pet.

Can I use it for flights and longer outings?

The PetAmi backpack is designed to fit under most airplane seats, and it folds flat when not in use for compact storage in luggage or a closet. Airline requirements can vary, so confirm your airline's current carrier rules before flying. For hikes and other outings, padded shoulder straps plus chest and waist buckles help distribute the carried weight.

• Side entry is useful in tighter spaces such as airplane cabins and car seats.
• Its fold-flat design suits storage at home and on the road.

What is the carrier made from, and what comes with it?

The carrier is made from rugged 600D polyester for use with claws and during everyday travel. Side pockets provide space for treats, a leash and waste bags, and a collapsible bowl is included for offering your pet water on the go. The purple backpack makes a practical gift for a dog or cat parent who takes a pet along on outings.

• Use the pockets to keep small pet essentials close at hand.
• The included bowl collapses for carrying between stops.

This PetAmi backpack is best suited to cat and small-to-medium dog owners who want a contained carrier for travel, hikes or everyday outings, including caregivers of senior, injured or anxious pets. Its defined pet weight limit, structured shape, two-side access and fold-flat storage make it a travel carrier with practical details for both carrying and packing away.
