For pets that need to travel with you, a backpack carrier keeps them close while leaving your hands free. PetAmi’s teal carrier is made for airline cabin travel as well as road trips, car rides, vet visits, hikes, and everyday outings. Its dimensions meet major airline size requirements for under-seat storage; airline pet policies vary, so confirm the rules for your specific flight before flying.

Will this PetAmi carrier fit my pet and an airplane seat?

The carrier has an interior measuring 12.5 x 12.0 x 16.5 in (31.75 x 30.48 x 41.91 cm) and is designed for pets weighing up to 18 lb (8.16 kg). It accommodates small dogs, medium and large cats, kittens, puppies, and rabbits when they fit within those limits. It is airline approved and TSA compliant for in-cabin travel, with a size intended for under-seat storage.

• Compare your pet’s size with the interior dimensions and 18 lb weight limit.
• Under-seat requirements and pet policies can vary by airline; verify your airline’s rules before flying.

How does the carrier help keep a pet secure and comfortable?

An internal safety leash clip, lockable zippers, and a reinforced frame help secure your pet and keep the carrier from collapsing. Mesh panels on all four sides allow airflow, while the top mesh window gives a pet a view and access to fresh air. A removable sherpa-lined cushion provides a soft place to sit during travel.

• The reflective safety strap improves visibility on early-morning walks and night outings.
• The top mesh window lets a curious pet peek out while remaining inside the carrier.

What storage and carrying features are included?

Padded shoulder straps, an adjustable chest buckle, and a waist belt make the backpack suitable for hands-free outings and longer hikes. The straps and belts are designed to distribute the carried weight evenly. Storage includes two side mesh pockets, a large pocket, and a front zip pocket with an ID name tag slot.

• Use the pockets for small outing essentials such as treats, waste bags, or a water bottle.
• A collapsible food bowl is included for feeding breaks away from home.

How do I store the PetAmi carrier between trips?

The carrier collapses flat for storage when it is not in use. Its four-way-entry design gives you multiple ways to access the carrier, while the zippered front pocket keeps small items together during outings.

• The sherpa-lined cushion is removable.
• The carrier is available in teal.

This PetAmi backpack suits pet owners who want hands-free carrying for a small dog, cat, kitten, puppy, or rabbit that fits the 18 lb limit and the interior dimensions. It is designed for cabin travel and everyday outings, with airline rules still requiring confirmation for each trip. Its under-seat-oriented size, ventilation mesh, security features, and backpack straps make it a travel carrier for pets within its stated fit limits.
