PetRuna Extra-Wide Dog Stairs for Large Dogs, 5 Steps, 20-Inch Wide, Adjustable

PetRuna 5-step dog stairs help dogs reach vehicles and furniture with a 20-inch (50.8 cm) wide climbing surface and adjustable height from 21 to 33 inches (53.34 to 83.82 cm).

• Supports up to 250 lb (113.4 kg) — gives larger dogs a defined load limit for climbing.
• Five extra-wide steps — offer a broader stairway for dogs who need more room underfoot.
• Non-slip paw-print coating, rubber feet and a vehicle tether — help keep paws and stairs secure during use.
• Adjustable height and length — lets you set the stairway for different access points.
• Folds to 19 x 6 x 13 inches (48.26 x 15.24 x 33.02 cm) — makes the stairs easier to store and carry.

Getting into a vehicle or onto furniture can be difficult for dogs with shorter legs, older dogs, and pets with limited mobility. PetRuna dog stairs provide a stepped route for reaching cars, SUVs, minivans, trucks, beds and sofas, with an adjustable layout for different heights and access needs. Their foldable design is also suited to travel, picnics, camping and other outdoor family activities.

Are these dog stairs suitable for large or mobility-limited dogs?

Yes. The five-step stairway is 20 inches wide and supports up to 250 lb (113.4 kg). Its broader steps are designed for larger dogs, while the climbing layout is intended to reduce pressure on a dog's legs and joints compared with jumping into or out of a vehicle. PetRuna also identifies the stairs as suitable for senior, short-legged, disabled or injured dogs.

• Five steps provide a stepped path to an elevated surface.
• Additional load bars reinforce the metal stair structure.
• A foam-covered handle increases grip and helps prevent scratches to the vehicle trunk.

What keeps the stairs and your dog more secure while climbing?

The step surface has a non-slip paw-print coating, and a slip-resistant rubber mat on the bottom helps keep the stairs from moving on slippery surfaces. An updated carabiner safety tether secures the stairway to a vehicle for added protection while a dog climbs.

• Rust-resistant, high-grade metal forms the stair structure.
• The paw-print surface is designed to reduce slipping underfoot.
• The bottom rubber mat and vehicle tether provide separate points of stability.

Can I adjust the stairs for different vehicles or furniture?

Yes. Set the height between 21 and 33 inches (53.34 and 83.82 cm) and the length between 42 and 66 inches (106.68 and 167.64 cm) to suit the access point. This adjustment range makes the stairs usable with cars, SUVs, minivans, trucks, beds and sofas. Choose a height and length that place the stairway appropriately for the surface your dog needs to reach.

• Adjustable height: 21–33 inches (53.34–83.82 cm).
• Adjustable length: 42–66 inches (106.68–167.64 cm).
• Designed for vehicle and furniture access rather than a single fixed-height setting.

How do the stairs fold for storage?

The stairs fold down to 19 x 6 x 13 inches (48.26 x 15.24 x 33.02 cm) for storage in a vehicle or at home. Their lightweight, foldable design makes them convenient to carry for trips and outdoor activities. Two connectors have been added to the sides to improve stability and usability when the stairs are open.

• When folding the stairs, fold both side connectors first, then fold the stairway.
• Follow this order especially after extending the stairs to their maximum angle to help avoid damage from improper folding.
• An operating video is available on the PetRuna homepage.

PetRuna dog stairs are suited to owners who want a portable, adjustable way for a large, senior, short-legged or mobility-limited dog to reach a vehicle or furniture without relying on a jump. They combine a 20-inch-wide, five-step route with a 250 lb capacity, vehicle tether and compact folded storage size.
