• Created by a veterinary behaviorist in 2004 — the design has been trusted by pet parents and trainers since then.

Pulling and lunging can make everyday walks harder to guide. The Easy Walk Harness is made for leash walks and hikes with dogs that need help learning better leash manners. Its front attachment is positioned to help you guide your dog, while the harness rests across the chest rather than the throat.

How does the Easy Walk Harness help with pulling?

The leash clips to the front of the PetSafe Easy Walk Harness, where a patented martingale loop responds when a dog pulls or lunges. The loop tightens gradually and places pressure on the shoulders, helping you redirect your dog’s focus. It is designed to help stop pulling and encourage better leash manners, rather than relying on pressure at the neck.

• Front leash connection for guiding your dog.
• Shoulder pressure from the martingale loop when your dog pulls.
• Chest-based placement helps avoid throat pressure associated with a standard collar.

What makes this harness comfortable for walks?

The PetSafe Easy Walk Harness has less coverage than other harnesses, giving it a lightweight, breathable design for walks and hikes. It rests across the chest instead of the throat, helping prevent gagging and choking if your dog pulls. The design is made for use during outings and is described as durable for regular walks and hikes.

• Reduced coverage compared with other harnesses.
• Breathable construction for your dog while wearing it.
• Chest placement keeps the harness away from the throat.
