This medium pet door is made for households that want pets to move between indoors and outdoors while limiting the exchange of hot or cold air through the doorway. Its multiple-flap construction adds a weather barrier while keeping the passage available for everyday pet access. The design is intended for use in both hot and cold climates.

How does the PetSafe Extreme Weather Pet Door help with temperature changes?

Three flaps, including an insulated center flap, provide layers of protection against outdoor temperatures. The door is designed for conditions ranging from -10°F (-23°C) to 100°F (38°C).

• The center flap adds insulation within the three-flap system.
• The door is rated 3.5 times more energy efficient than a traditional single-flap door.

What doors does the PetSafe Extreme Weather Pet Door fit?

It fits standard paneled, wood, metal and PVC doors that are 1 5/8 in (4.1 cm) to 2 1/4 in (5.7 cm) thick. Installation is a do-it-yourself project.

• Measure your door thickness before installation to confirm it falls within the stated range.

How can I control access through the pet door?
