PetSafe ScoopFree Reusable Stainless Steel Litter Tray, Fresh Scent, with 1.95 kg Crystal Litter

PetSafe ScoopFree Stainless Steel Reusable Litter Tray is a refillable alternative to disposable ScoopFree trays, made from 304-grade powder-coated stainless steel and compatible with all ScoopFree Crystal systems.

• Reusable stainless steel tray — refill it for another litter cycle instead of replacing the whole tray.
• Includes 4.3 lb (1.95 kg) of fresh-scent Crystal Litter — the system is ready to use with litter included.
• Silica gel crystals — absorb liquid and dry solid waste, with odor control about 5x faster than traditional clumping clay.
• 99% dust-free litter — helps reduce dust and tracking, including litter clinging to long-haired cats’ fur.
• Magnet-secured waste shield — helps keep odors contained inside the tray between refills.

For ScoopFree Crystal system users, this tray offers a reusable way to refresh the litter without replacing a disposable tray each cycle. The stainless steel tray is designed for repeated use, while the included crystal litter is a lightweight, non-clumping option for automatic litter systems. Reusing the tray also creates less packaging waste over time than using disposable trays.

Which ScoopFree systems fit this tray?

The tray works with all PetSafe ScoopFree Crystal automatic litter box systems. Compatible models include Crystal Plus, Crystal Pro, Crystal Pro Legacy, Crystal Smart, and Crystal Classic. It slides in and out of the systems, and its stainless steel construction is designed to handle daily use.

• 304-grade powder-coated stainless steel resists rust, stains, and scratches.
• The tray is leak-proof, with a nonabsorbent surface.
• Its reusable construction is an alternative to plastic disposable trays.

What litter comes with the tray, and how does it work?

One 4.3 lb (1.95 kg) bag of light fresh-scent, non-clumping Crystal Litter is included. The silica gel crystals absorb liquid and dry solid waste quickly; their odor control works about 5x faster than traditional clumping clay. The crystals are 99% dust-free, and their lightweight texture is less likely to cling to paws or track beyond the litter box.

• By weight, the crystal litter goes about 5x further than clumping clay: 10 lb (4.54 kg) replaces roughly 50 lb (22.68 kg).
• The lightweight crystals can be a comfortable option for long-haired cats, whose fur can catch heavier clumping litter.
• The crystals are non-clumping and do not require scooping.

How do you refresh and clean the reusable tray?

To refresh the tray, empty the used litter, rinse the tray, and refill it with litter. There is no need to buy a new tray for each cycle. Rounded interior corners help limit litter buildup, while the smooth, nonabsorbent surface makes the tray straightforward to rinse.

• An odor-locking waste shield is secured with stainless steel magnets.
• The shield helps contain smells inside the tray and away from the room.
• The rounded corners leave fewer areas for litter to collect.
