For cabin trips with a small dog or cat, carrier dimensions and pet fit are essential. Petskd combines an expandable top with a compact main body, giving you a soft-sided option for airline travel while keeping your pet visible through mesh panels. Compare your pet’s length and height with the interior measurements before choosing it.

What size pet fits inside the Petskd carrier?

The Petskd carrier is intended for small dogs and cats whose size is within its 14 x 9 x 8 in inner dimensions. The recommended pet weight is under 8 lb for a dog or under 10 lb for a cat. Use your pet’s length and height as well as weight when judging fit; the weight guidance does not replace the interior measurements.

The top expands to add 3.5 in of height, while the main carrier measures 17 x 12 x 8.5 in. This expandable design is made for small pets, not larger dogs or cats that exceed the recommended size or weight.

• Inner fit reference: 14 in long x 9 in wide x 8 in high.
• Recommended pet weight: dogs under 8 lb; cats under 10 lb.

Which airlines is this carrier designed for?

Petskd is designed for cabin travel with JetBlue, Allegiant, Spirit and Frontier, and is also stated to comply with Southwest. It is TSA approved and can go under an aircraft seat after you remove the wheel base.

The unfolded dimensions are 17 in long x 12 in wide x 12 in high, with the added height coming from the 3.5 in top expansion. Airline rules and under-seat space can vary, so compare the carrier’s dimensions with the requirements for your specific flight.

• For under-seat placement, remove the wheel base.
• Named airlines: JetBlue, Allegiant, Spirit, Frontier and Southwest.

How does the carrier provide ventilation and security?

Five mesh sides allow airflow and let you see your pet, while three openings provide access. Each opening has two non-slip zippers, and a zipper snap lock is designed to help prevent pets from opening or pulling the zipper.

Its structural support uses stainless steel and fiber rods to help the soft carrier hold its shape and keep the top from collapsing. An adjustable built-in rope buckle can attach to your pet’s collar. The polyester fabric is waterproof, non-toxic and scratch-resistant; the upgraded mesh is designed to resist tearing from pets’ nails and help prevent pets from falling out.

• Five mesh sides for ventilation and visibility.
• Three access openings with paired non-slip zippers.
• Adjustable collar buckle and zipper snap lock.

Petskd suits owners traveling with a small cat or dog that fits the interior dimensions and recommended weight limits, especially when cabin travel is planned with one of the named airlines. Its expandable top, supported structure and multiple mesh openings are built into a compact carrier for small pets, rather than pets that exceed its fit guidance.
