Phaxth 12-Inch Metal Dog Potty Training Fire Hydrant Post for Indoor or Outdoor Use

Phaxth’s metal fire hydrant pee post gives dogs a designated target for potty training indoors or outdoors, with a 12-inch height and a 5.3-inch square footprint.

• Measures 5.3 in W x 5.3 in L x 12 in H (13.5 x 13.5 x 30.5 cm) and weighs 1.58 lb (0.72 kg) — a compact option for small-dog training areas.
• Weather-resistant coated metal — made for outdoor use and easy rinsing.
• Removable top — add sand or rocks to help keep the post from tipping.
• Chain-linked cap — keeps the cap attached to the hydrant body.
• Hollow interior — offers space for small items, including rolls of poop bags.
• Fire hydrant shape — gives male dogs a clear focal point for a designated pee area.

For a puppy learning where to go, a consistent target can help define a potty spot. This hydrant-style post is intended for male dogs and can be used outside or set up indoors with pee pads, helping direct leg-lifting toward the hydrant rather than other household items.

What dogs and potty-training setups is it for?

Phaxth’s pee post is sized with small dogs in mind, including Chihuahuas and Dachshunds. Its hydrant form creates a focal point for male dogs to mark, and it can be paired with pee pads for an indoor training area or placed outdoors.

• Made to guide puppies during potty training.
• Designed for male dogs to use as a designated target.
• Suitable for indoor or outdoor potty-training setups.

How can the hydrant be kept from tipping?

The top comes off so you can add sand or rocks inside the body for extra stability. The post weighs 1.58 lb (0.72 kg) before adding ballast, which can help it stay upright when a dog gets excited or in windy conditions.

• Remove the top to access the inside.
• Use sand or rocks as ballast.
• The cap remains connected to the body by a chain.

Can it be used outdoors or as decor?

Yes. The metal body has a weather-resistant coating and can be rinsed clean. Its surface is made to resist lingering dog-urine odor, fading, cracking, and warping, making it suitable for use as an outdoor pee post as well as a decorative fire hydrant.

• Use it as a table decoration in a home or office.
• The hollow space can hold small belongings or rolls of poop bags.
• Its firefighter theme suits Christmas decorating or gifting to a firefighter or fire-service enthusiast.

Phaxth’s hydrant pee post suits small-dog owners who want a defined indoor or outdoor target, as well as shoppers looking for fire hydrant-themed decor. It is a metal training aid and decorative piece with a removable, chain-connected cap and an interior that can be weighted with sand or rocks.
