When a dog has trouble rising, walking steadily, or managing stairs, supporting the rear legs can make everyday movement easier to assist. This sling is made for elderly, disabled, or injured dogs that need help moving, including dogs recovering from surgery. It can also be used to help a dog get in and out of a car or rise from a lying position.

What kinds of movement can the rear support help with?

The harness lifts the rear end to assist dogs that have difficulty with stairs, standing up, or walking. It is designed to help support gait and spine stability while you assist your dog, and to reduce the risk of a fall during movement.

• Helps with getting up from a resting position.
• Provides rear-end assistance when entering or exiting a car.
• Supports dogs that struggle to navigate stairs or walk steadily.

Is this sling suitable for post-surgery rehabilitation?

Yes. PICK FOR LIFE’s rear-support sling is intended to assist dogs recovering from knee surgery, CCL (ACL) procedures, TPLO, or hip replacement. Its role is to provide physical support while your dog moves during recovery; it is not a treatment for an injury or a substitute for veterinary care.

• Designed for dogs needing help with mobility after surgery.
• Also suited to older or injured dogs that need rear-leg support.

What is the sling made from, and how do you handle it?

The inside has a soft plush lining, while the outer cover uses Oxford fabric. The padded handles provide a cushioned grip for lifting assistance. The fabric is washable, and the sling can be carried or stored in its drawstring bag.

• The plush inner surface cushions the belly.
• The manufacturer describes the fabric as typically usable for up to 5 years.

This adjustable sling is best suited to medium dogs that need help supporting their rear end while standing, walking, using stairs, or recovering from an operation. Its plush lining, padded handles, washable fabric, and included drawstring bag make it a practical mobility aid for assisted movement and storage.
