Powools Cat Litter Mat, 27 x 19 Inch Black Double-Layer Honeycomb Design

The Powools Ultra-Large Cat Litter Mat is a black, double-layer mat designed to catch tracked litter, measuring 27" x 19" (68.6 x 48.3 cm).

• Honeycomb openings catch loose litter — litter falls through the top layer instead of spreading across the floor.
• Soft EVA surface — gives paws a gentle, non-toxic, odor-free place to step.
• Envelope-shaped design — makes it easy to pour collected litter back into the box.
• Anti-slip backing — helps keep the mat in place during use.
• Crease-smoothing options — heavy items or a gentle reverse fold can help flatten packaging creases.
• Suitable for clumping, crystal and pellet litter — works with different litter types.

Loose litter can cling to a cat’s paws and scatter around the litter box. This mat is made to collect those stray pieces while giving cats a soft surface to step on. Its size and simple clean-out design suit everyday use around a litter box, and it can also serve other areas of a cat’s routine.

How does the Powools mat catch litter?

The double-layer construction catches loose litter in the top layer’s honeycomb openings and holds it in the lower layer. As your cat steps across the mat, litter from paws can drop through the openings rather than staying on the surface. It is designed for all types of cat litter, including clumping, crystal and pellet.

• Top layer has honeycomb-shaped openings.
• Collected litter stays contained in the bottom layer until you empty it.

How do you clean the Powools cat litter mat?

Tip the envelope-shaped mat to return collected litter to the litter box. This approach can reduce the need to sweep scattered litter and helps avoid wasting litter that can be reused. For a deeper clean, wipe the surface with a damp cloth or rinse the mat.

• Pour loose litter out through the envelope-style opening.
• Choose a damp cloth wipe or a rinse for deeper cleaning.

Is the Powools mat comfortable for cats, and what else can it be used for?

The mat is made from EVA, with a soft surface intended to be gentle on sensitive paws. The material is non-toxic and odor-free, and the mat is designed to withstand scratches. Cats can also use it as a spot to step, play or rest.

Beyond the litter area, place it beneath food and water bowls to catch spills and crumbs. Its anti-slip backing helps keep it securely positioned during use.

• Use beneath food and water bowls to collect mess.
• Can also provide a soft place for cats to relax.

How can you smooth creases in the Powools mat?

If compact packaging leaves creases, place a heavy item such as a book or box over the affected area for a few hours. You can also gently fold the mat in the opposite direction along the crease to help smooth it.

• Use weight on creased areas for a few hours.
• Alternatively, gently reverse-fold along the crease.

The Powools mat suits cat owners who want litter caught near the box, a soft EVA surface for paws and a mat that can also be used beneath bowls. Its double-layer honeycomb design and easy-to-empty construction make it a practical fit for routine litter-area cleanup.
