Its corner placement makes use of cage space while keeping the platform available as part of the bird’s enclosure.

What can birds use the corner shelf for?

The shelf provides an extra platform for a bird to perch, rest, or play. It can also hold accessories such as sleeping sacks, nests, and toys, giving these items a place within the cage. The powder-coated steel platform is described as chew-proof and offers support for bird perches, ladders, and other cage accessories.

• Suitable for adding a perch or play area.
• Can hold nests, sleeping sacks, toys, and ladders.

Which cages does the shelf fit?

It is designed to fit in the corner of Prevue Pet Products Select Series wrought-iron cages and is sized for medium and large bird cages. Measure the available corner area against the shelf’s dimensions: 17 3/4 in (45.1 cm) long, 12 in (30.5 cm) wide, and 1 1/2 in (3.8 cm) high. For cages outside the Select Series, fit depends on whether the corner and cage bars accommodate the shelf and clamps.

• Black finish suits the cage interior.
• Check the usable corner space against the full shelf dimensions.

How does the shelf attach to the cage?

Included wing nut clamps fasten the shelf in a compatible cage corner. The clamps are designed to hold the platform securely in place, creating a stable perch or accessory area without adding a separate stand.

• Wing nut clamps come with the shelf.
• The shelf mounts inside the cage corner.

This shelf suits bird owners who want to add a perch, play area, or place for cage accessories in a compatible medium or large cage.
