Some cats need a dietetic food with a nutritional profile designed around specific support goals. This bag contains the dry kibble version of the formula.

What nutritional support is this cat food designed to provide?

Its high-protein, low-carbohydrate profile is designed to help support healthy glucose levels while helping maintain lean body mass and ideal body condition. These are the formula’s stated nutritional purposes, rather than a guarantee of an individual cat’s results. The food is intended for cats that need this specific dietetic profile.

• Protein and carbohydrate levels are the defining nutritional features.
• The formula is designed to support more than one nutritional goal.

How does St/Ox Defense address urinary health?

St/Ox Defense promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. This urinary support is part of the diet’s formulation, alongside its glucose and body-condition support. The two crystal types are specifically named in the formula’s purpose.

• Urinary-environment support is built into the food.
• Both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals are addressed.

Is this food available in a format other than dry kibble?

Yes. DM Dietetic Management is also available as canned food in loaf and Savory Selects varieties, in addition to this dry kibble option. The different formats let cat owners choose among the stated dry and canned versions of the diet.

• This product page is for the dry cat food.
• Canned options include loaf and Savory Selects.
