Proactive Paws Prime Enzymes Digestive Supplement for Dogs & Cats with Taurine

Proactive Paws Prime Enzymes is a veterinary-formulated digestive enzyme supplement for dogs and cats, made to support digestion and nutrient absorption with ingredients including papaya, pineapple and fermentation extracts.

• Formulated by Dr. Karen Becker — a veterinary-formulated blend designed to support digestion and nutrient absorption.
• Dried papaya and pineapple with fermentation extracts — enzymes help break down proteins, fats and carbohydrates during normal digestion.
• Organic apple fiber and ox bile extract — included alongside the enzyme ingredients to support healthy digestion.
• 167 mg of taurine per scoop — supports normal heart function, vision and cellular function in dogs and cats.
• Sprinkle over food once daily — the serving ranges from half a scoop for pets under 15 lb (6.8 kg) to 2 scoops for extra-large dogs over 80 lb (36.3 kg).
• For cats and dogs of all sizes — intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding.

Digestion is the first step in making food’s nutrients available to a pet’s body. Prime Enzymes is designed for daily mealtimes when you want to add digestive enzyme support to your cat’s or dog’s food. The powder is sprinkled onto food, making it part of the meal rather than a separate feeding routine.

How does Prime Enzymes support digestion?

Proactive Paws Prime Enzymes supplies a blend intended to help break down food as part of normal digestion. This supports the digestive process that makes nutrients available for absorption, rather than replacing your pet’s food. The formula also supports the breakdown and absorption of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and fatty acids.

• Designed to support digestion and nutrient absorption during normal digestive function.
• Made for use with a pet’s food as an intermittent or supplemental feeding product.

What ingredients are in the enzyme blend?

Proactive Paws Prime Enzymes combines dried papaya and pineapple with fermentation extracts, plus organic apple fiber and ox bile extract. The fermentation extracts include organisms such as Aspergillus oryzae, Trichoderma reesei and Bacillus species. Each scoop also provides 167 mg of taurine, which supports normal heart, vision and cellular function.

• Digestive enzyme sources include papaya, pineapple and fermentation extracts.
• Additional formula components include organic apple fiber and ox bile extract.

How much should I give my pet?

Sprinkle the appropriate serving of Proactive Paws Prime Enzymes onto your pet’s food once daily. The amount is based on pet size: small pets under 15 lb (6.8 kg) receive half a scoop, while extra-large dogs over 80 lb (36.3 kg) receive 2 scoops. The formula is suitable for cats and dogs of all sizes.

• Mix the serving into food at mealtime.
• Serving guidance spans small pets through extra-large dogs.

Prime Enzymes is suited to cat and dog owners looking to add digestive support to regular meals, including households with pets of different sizes. It is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding, with a once-daily serving sprinkled onto food.
