Puppia Vivien Dog Vest Harness, Violet Small Step-In Mesh Design

Puppia Vivien Dog Vest Harness B is a violet step-in harness for small dogs, with a 12.2-inch (31 cm) chest size and a hook-and-loop closure paired with a quick-release buckle.

• Made from breathable 100% polyester air mesh — lightweight fabric for spring and summer outings.
• Fastens around the chest rather than the neck — a useful design for dogs that are head-shy or nervous about dressing.
• Soft inner padding — helps reduce rubbing during walks.
• Checkered frills, ribbons, buttons and gingham piping — add decorative detail to the violet vest.
• Back-mounted fastening — keeps the closure away from the front of the neck.

Putting a harness over a dog’s head can be difficult for some pets. The Vivien uses a step-in format: your dog places its front legs through the openings, and you fasten the vest over the back. Its chest-wrapping shape is designed to avoid pressure at the neck, making it a practical option for small dogs and dogs that are uneasy about head-first dressing.

How does the step-in harness fasten?

The harness closes on the dog’s back in two stages: first the wide hook-and-loop section, then the quick-release plastic buckle. This combination helps keep the vest secured around the torso, including for dogs that may try to back out of a harness.

• Position the vest around the chest after your dog steps into the front-leg openings.
• The buckle releases quickly when it is time to take the harness off.

What size should I choose for my small dog?

Small fits a 12.2-inch (31 cm) chest. Measure your dog’s chest and compare it with that measurement before choosing this size. Puppia harness sizing can differ from other pet apparel brands, so a size from another manufacturer or designer is not a reliable guide for selecting a Puppia harness.

• Size shown: Small.
• Chest measurement: 12.2 inches (31 cm).

What is the Vivien harness made from and how is it styled?

The vest is constructed from the soft polyester mesh used in Puppia Soft Harness designs. Air mesh allows airflow through the fabric, while the lightweight build suits warm-weather wear. The violet design has checkered frills with ribbons and buttons, finished with gingham piping.

• Material: 100% polyester air mesh.
• Colour: Violet.
• Decorative details: frills, ribbons, buttons and gingham piping.
