Purple Dragon 7-Inch Dog Grooming Scissors Set, 4 Japanese Steel Shears with Silencer

Purple Dragon’s 7-inch dog grooming scissors set is designed for everyday coat trimming, shaping and thinning, with four Japanese stainless steel shears and a silencer between the handles.

• Four 7-inch shears: straight, upward curved, downward curved and thinning — choose a blade style for different coat-grooming tasks.
• Japanese stainless steel with 62 HRC hardness — provides the material and hardness specified for each shear.
• A silencer between the handles — supports quieter grooming for sensitive dogs and cats.
• Convex-arc blade design with evenly polished edges — designed to make cutting smoother and more stable.
• Thinning teeth designed not to clip pet hair — help thin thick fur.
• Includes a grooming scissors bag and cleaning cloth — keeps the set’s listed accessories together.

For routine grooming at home or professional grooming work, this set brings several cutting styles together for different areas and coat needs. The curved shears are intended for shaping around the head, ears, eyes, legs and paws; the straight shear is for longer hair on the body; and the thinning shear is for reducing thick fur. The handle silencer makes the set a quieter alternative to electric clippers for pets that are sensitive to grooming sounds.

What comes in the Purple Dragon grooming scissors set?

The set contains four 7-inch scissors, one cleaning cloth and one pet grooming scissors bag. Its mix of blade shapes gives you distinct tools for trimming, shaping and thinning rather than relying on one shear for every task.

• One straight cutting scissor for long body hair.
• One upward curved scissor and one downward curved scissor for shaping around the face and limbs.
• One thinning shear for thick fur.

Which grooming tasks are the different shears designed for?

The straight shear is intended for cutting longer body hair, while the two curved shears are made for shaping around the head, ears, eyes, fluffy legs and paws. Use the thinning shear to thin thick fur as part of basic everyday grooming.

The variety of shapes helps match the tool to the area being groomed, from body coat trimming to shaping around more detailed areas. This is a manual scissors set; its silencer is positioned between the handles to reduce grooming noise for sensitive pets.

• Curved blades provide upward and downward options for shaping.
• The thinning shear has Japanese stainless steel teeth designed not to clip pet hair.

What are the Purple Dragon shears made from?

Each shear is made from Japanese stainless steel with a stated hardness of 62 HRC. The blades use an evenly polished edge and convex-arc design intended to support smooth, stable cutting.

Each scissor undergoes 60 polishing and grinding processes. The blade design is also intended to keep pet hair from getting caught between the blades, helping reduce messy hair clutters during grooming. The manufacturer has made shears for over 60 years and provides a 100% money-back guarantee.

• The set combines four blade styles in one grooming kit.
• A silencer sits between the handles for quieter use with sensitive pets.

Purple Dragon’s set suits professional pet groomers and people grooming their dogs at home who want straight, curved and thinning shears in one kit. It is also designed for quieter grooming of sensitive dogs or cats. Four 7-inch Japanese stainless steel shears, a handle silencer, a cleaning cloth and a storage bag make up the set.
