• Non-slip TPR backing helps keep the mat in place on a clean, dry floor.
• Cut-pile fabric and reinforced bound edges are less likely to catch pet claws than loop pile or serged edges.
• Vacuum for everyday cleaning or machine wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.
• Available in multiple sizes for entryways and other high-traffic indoor areas.

Rain, snow, and muddy conditions can bring moisture and grit indoors on footwear. This mat is made for indoor entrances where shoes cross onto household or business floors, and its generous listed size offers a broad area for wiping feet. It can also be used in pet areas, kitchens, laundry rooms, bathrooms, and other busy indoor spaces.

Will this mat fit under a low-clearance door?

Yes, its 0.8 in (2.03 cm) profile and soft, flexible pile are designed to let doors swing over it with as little as 0.3 in (0.76 cm) of clearance. Reinforced edges provide a firmer brushing action, while the pile gives under a door rather than creating a rigid obstruction. The selected size measures 33.5 x 59 in (85.09 x 149.86 cm); PURRUGS also offers multiple sizes.

• Suitable for low-clearance doors when clearance is at least 0.3 in (0.76 cm).
• Measure the available floor area against the mat’s listed dimensions before choosing its placement.

How does the mat help catch dirt and moisture?

Its polyester microfiber fibers are designed to catch water and dirt from the bottoms of shoes as people enter. The larger surface provides more room for wiping footwear, which is useful during rainy, snowy, or muddy weather. For the best result, use the largest indoor mat that fits your available space.

• Made for indoor entryways and other high-traffic areas.
• Can be placed in front or back entrances, pet areas, kitchens, laundry rooms, or bathrooms.

Is it suitable for homes with pets?

Yes, the polyester cut-pile surface and reinforced bound edges are less likely to catch claws than loop-pile carpets or carpets with serged edges. A strong TPR backing helps hold the mat in place and can help reduce trip hazards. Place it on a clean, dry floor for the backing to grip properly.

• Soft pile offers a comfortable surface underfoot.
• Cut pile avoids the loop construction identified as more likely to catch claws.

How do you clean the PURRUGS door mat?

Vacuum the polyester surface for routine cleaning, or machine wash the mat separately in cold water with mild detergent for a deeper clean. Tumble dry with no heat. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. The stain- and fade-resistant surface is made to withstand repeated washing without fading or wearing out.

• Machine wash separately in cold water.
• Use mild detergent and tumble dry with no heat.
• Avoid bleach and fabric softener.

This mat suits households and businesses looking for an indoor entrance surface that catches shoe-borne dirt and moisture, including homes with pets and low-clearance doors. It combines a broad 33.5 x 59 in (85.09 x 149.86 cm) footprint with flexible low-profile pile, a TPR backing, and straightforward machine-wash care.
