PURRUGS Indoor Door Mat, Green 20 x 31.5 in, Dirt-Trapping Microfibre

PURRUGS Dirt Trapping Door Mat is a green indoor entrance mat designed to catch dirt and moisture from shoes, with a 20 x 31.5 in (50.8 x 80 cm) footprint and polyester microfiber pile.

• 0.8 in (2 cm) pile flexes for doors with as little as 0.3 in (0.76 cm) clearance — helps doors swing without catching.
• Polyester fibers trap water and dirt from shoe bottoms — helps keep indoor floors cleaner and drier.
• TPR non-slip backing — helps hold the mat in place on a clean, dry floor.
• Cut-pile surface and reinforced bound edges — less likely to snag on pet claws than loop-pile rugs or rugs with serged edges.
• Machine washable in cold water and tumble-dryable with no heat — makes routine cleaning straightforward.
• Stain- and fade-resistant surface — can be vacuumed between deeper washes.

Wet, snowy, or muddy shoes can carry moisture and dirt into busy indoor spaces. This mat is made to sit just inside an entrance and catch debris as people step in, helping maintain cleaner, drier floors in homes and businesses. Its intended uses include entryways and other high-traffic rooms where shoes or pets regularly pass through.

How does the PURRUGS mat trap dirt and moisture?

Its many polyester fibers catch water and dirt from the bottoms of shoes as people walk across the mat. That makes it useful during rainy, snowy, or muddy weather, when footwear can bring moisture and debris indoors. For the strongest coverage, choose the largest indoor mat that fits the space available.

• Suitable for indoor entrances and other high-traffic areas.
• Designed to help keep indoor areas clean, dry, and safe.

Will this door mat fit under a low-clearance door?

The soft, flexible pile has enough give for doors with as little as 0.3 in (0.76 cm) of clearance, while the mat measures 0.8 in (2 cm) thick. Its low-profile construction and reinforced edges are designed to let doors open smoothly without jamming or curling. The mat in this listing measures 20 x 31.5 in (50.8 x 80 cm); PURRUGS also makes this style in multiple sizes.

• Use it at front or back doors, in entryways, or in pet areas.
• Other suggested rooms include kitchens, laundry rooms, and bathrooms.

What makes the surface suitable for homes with pets?

The mat uses polyester microfiber with a cut-pile surface and reinforced bound edges. Compared with loop-pile carpets or carpets with serged edges, this construction is less likely to catch on claws. The surface is soft to walk on and absorbent, while a TPR backing helps keep the mat in position. Place it on a floor that is clean and dry before use.

• Cut-pile construction is designed with pets and household foot traffic in mind.
• The backing helps reduce movement that can create a trip hazard.

How should you clean the PURRUGS door mat?

Vacuum the polyester surface for routine cleaning. For a deeper clean, machine wash the mat separately in cold water with mild detergent, then tumble dry with no heat. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Its stain- and fade-resistant surface is made to retain its appearance through repeated washing without fading or wearing out.

• Wash separately in cold water.
• Use mild detergent and tumble dry with no heat.
• Avoid bleach and fabric softener.

This PURRUGS mat suits households and businesses looking for an indoor entrance rug that catches shoe-borne dirt and moisture, including homes with pets and busy entry points. Its defined footprint, flexible pile, claw-conscious cut-pile surface, and machine-wash care make it a practical fit for indoor doorways and high-traffic rooms.
