Some dogs need more support than a standard walking harness provides. This design is made for large and extra-active dogs, as well as older or disabled dogs who may need help with obstacles, stairs or getting into and out of a car. The handle also gives the handler a way to assist or gain control during outings and training.

How does the lift handle help support a dog?

The padded carrying handle gives you a place to grip when helping your dog over an obstacle or providing support during movement. It can also help you gain control during an outing or training session. For older or disabled dogs, the handle is intended to assist with going up or down stairs and getting on or off a car. The harness is also intended for pet support and rehabilitation.

• The handle is padded for a more comfortable grip.
• Use it to assist with movement or to hold your dog more directly.
• It is designed for support situations as well as walks and training.

How does the harness help keep a dog secure?

Three straps around the chest and belly are designed to help prevent a dog from escaping and provide a more secure restraint. The harness is made with larger breeds and extra-active dogs in mind. A sealed metal D-ring on the back provides a leash attachment point for no-pull control with less effort, and it can also be used for more relaxed walking.

• The back D-ring is metal and sealed.
• The design distributes pulling pressure to help prevent choking.
• Reflective strips are intended to improve visibility during walks in the dark, as well as in daylight.

How can I adjust the fit?

Five adjustment points let you tailor the harness around your dog: three are positioned around the neck and two around the chest and belly. Adjusting the straps is intended to create a snug fit while allowing mobility, with room for growth and some stretch. Quick-release buckles make the harness easier to put on and remove.

• Three adjustment points sit around the neck.
• Two adjustment points sit around the chest and belly.
• The design balances a close fit with room to move.

What materials and padding does it use?

The harness uses heavy-duty polyester webbing with breathable, padded air mesh. Soft sponge padding is designed to reduce friction against the skin and add protection during extended walks, training and other outdoor activities. Together, the webbing and padded mesh address different needs: the webbing provides the harness structure, while the mesh and sponge offer cushioning where the harness contacts the dog.

• The air mesh is breathable and padded.
• Soft sponges help reduce skin friction.
• The harness is intended for daily use, walks, training and outdoor adventures.

This harness is suited to owners of large or extra-active dogs who want a secure restraint with a handle for added assistance. It is also designed for support needs involving older or disabled dogs, including stairs and car access. The combination of adjustable straps, a padded lift handle and a back leash ring makes it a harness for both walking control and hands-on support.
