For a small dog that pulls, finding a harness with a suitable fit and a useful leash attachment can make walks and training easier to manage. This vest is designed for everyday walks as well as activities such as jogging and hiking, with separate chest and back leash points for different uses. Measure your dog before choosing a size, since the fit depends on both neck and chest girth.

Will this harness fit my small dog?

The harness is sized for a neck girth of 10.2–13.5 inches (25.9–34.3 cm) and a chest girth of 11.6–18.5 inches (29.5–47 cm). It is recommended for dogs weighing less than 15 lb (6.8 kg), including Pomeranians, Miniature Pinschers, Chihuahuas and Toy Poodles. Measure your dog’s neck and chest and compare both measurements with these ranges before buying. This extra-small harness is not intended for large dogs.

• Two neck straps and two chest straps adjust the fit around the body.
• The adjustable fit leaves some room for growth.

Which leash clip should I use?

Use the chest attachment when working on pulling, and the back attachment for casual walks, jogging or hiking. Two metal leash rings give you a choice of connection point, and the harness is designed to discourage pulling and help avoid choking during walks. The chest clip is intended for training or for dogs that tend to pull; the back clip suits more relaxed outings.

• Chest attachment: a training option for pulling behavior.
• Back attachment: suited to casual walks and outdoor activities.

How do I put on and adjust the vest?

Slide the overhead harness over your dog’s head, fasten its two quick-release buckles, then adjust the straps around the neck and chest. The two neck straps and two chest straps allow you to tailor the fit, while the fast-release buckles make taking the harness off straightforward. Use the top handle as an additional handhold when you want closer control.

• Overhead design; no step-in fitting is required.
• Adjust the straps after fastening the buckles.

What features support comfort and visibility outdoors?

The vest is made from polyester oxford and has soft cushioning to protect your dog’s skin. Breathable air mesh is designed to help keep your dog cool during outdoor activities. Reflective strips are included to improve visibility on walks in daylight or at night, and the harness is lightweight and easy to clean.

• Padded construction adds a soft layer against your dog.
• Reflective detailing is intended for visibility in different light conditions.

This harness is best suited to owners of extra-small dogs who want an adjustable overhead vest for walks, training or outdoor outings. Its measured neck and chest ranges, dual leash points and padded, breathable construction make it a practical fit for small dogs under 15 lb, not large dogs.
