Resco Cordo-Hyde Dog Show Lead, Thin 3/16-Inch Wheat, Flexible Lightweight Design

The Resco Cordo-Hyde Dog Show Lead is a conformation lead for presenting dogs in the show ring, with a discreet 3/16-inch (4.8 mm) width and a neutral wheat finish.

• Flexible, lightweight Cordo-Hyde construction — moves naturally with handler and dog as you gather, release, or adjust the lead.
• Made for conformation and breed shows — suits competitive handling and ring presentation.
• Useful for stacking and gaiting — supports the handling tasks named for this show lead.
• Made in the USA — Resco has produced grooming and handling products in the country since 1937.
• Part of the Resco Original Show Lead tradition — the lead was introduced in 1952 and became a staple for professional handlers.
• A 3/8-inch (9.5 mm) wide option is also identified — choose between the thinner profile and a broader feel.

Show-ring handling calls for a lead that lets the handler gather, release, and adjust it while moving with the dog. This Resco lead is intended for conformation, breed-show presentation, and competitive handling, including the practical work of stacking and gaiting. Its wheat color offers a neutral look alongside a range of coat colors, while the thin profile keeps the lead visually discreet during presentation.

What is the Resco Cordo-Hyde lead designed for?

It is designed for presenting and handling dogs in conformation and breed shows. Handlers can use it while stacking a dog for presentation or moving the dog at a gait in the ring. It is suited to experienced handlers, breeders, and exhibitors looking for a traditional show lead for competitive handling.

• For show-ring presentation rather than general-purpose leash use.
• Suitable for stacking and gaiting.
• Made for handlers, breeders, and exhibitors.

What does the thin 3/16-inch width offer?

This version has a 3/16-inch (4.8 mm) width for a low-profile appearance in the ring. The product range also identifies a 3/8-inch (9.5 mm) wide version, described as having a broader feel and more substantial handling. Choose the thin width when a discreet lead presentation is your preference; the wider option is the stated alternative for a broader feel.

• Thin width: 3/16 inch (4.8 mm).
• Wider option: 3/8 inch (9.5 mm).
• Wheat is the color of this version.

How does the lead handle during movement?

Cordo-Hyde is flexible and lightweight, and its construction moves naturally with the handler and dog. That flexibility makes it easy to gather, release, and adjust the lead while moving around the ring. Resco introduced its Original Show Lead in 1952, and Cordo-Hyde became a staple for professional handlers.

• Flexible construction responds as handler and dog move.
• Can be gathered, released, and adjusted during ring movement.
• Resco has made grooming and handling products in the USA since 1937.

This lead is best suited to handlers, breeders, and exhibitors who need a traditional, low-profile lead for conformation presentation, stacking, and gaiting. Its 3/16-inch width, flexible Cordo-Hyde construction, and wheat color make it a specific fit for show-ring handling rather than an all-purpose lead.
