Resco Deluxe Dog Nail Clipper Kit, Large – Guillotine Trimmer with File

Resco Deluxe Dog Nail Clipper Kit, Large, is a pet nail-grooming set for controlled trimming, built around a USA-made trimmer sized for large dogs.

• Trimmer, replacement blade, sapphire nail file and Gold Medal styptic powder — the key tools for a complete nail-grooming routine.
• Patented guillotine blade action — designed for clean cuts while helping prevent nail crushing and splintering during standard grooming.
• Replaceable blade system — swap a dull blade to maintain a sharp cutting edge without replacing the entire trimmer.
• Powder-coated Deluxe finish with non-slip grips — provides a secure hold and leverage while trimming.
• Heavy-duty American steel with chrome plating — the trimmer’s construction is made for long-term use.

Keeping a dog’s nails groomed calls for a trimmer that gives the handler a steady, controlled cut, plus tools for finishing and routine care. This kit brings trimming, smoothing and a styptic powder together for at-home pet grooming. Its guillotine-style mechanism is designed for standard nail-care sessions, while the file helps smooth rough edges after cutting.

What comes in the Resco Deluxe Dog Nail Clipper Kit?

The kit contains an Original nail trimmer, one replacement cutting blade, a sapphire nail file and Gold Medal styptic powder. The file is included to smooth rough nail edges after trimming, and the fast-acting styptic powder is intended to quickly stop minor bleeding. Together, these components cover the cutting step and two useful parts of nail-care finishing.

The included replacement blade gives the kit a spare cutting component as well as the trimmer itself. Keeping the file and styptic powder in the same set means the grooming tools are collected together for a nail-care session.

• One Original guillotine nail trimmer
• One replacement cutting blade
• One sapphire nail file
• Gold Medal styptic powder

How does the Resco guillotine nail trimmer cut?

The patented guillotine action is designed to make a clean cut and help prevent crushing or splintering nails during standard pet grooming routines. The cutting mechanism moves through the nail in a guillotine-style action, giving the handler a controlled way to trim. This design is intended for regular grooming use rather than nail filing alone.

When the blade becomes dull, the replaceable system allows the blade to be changed instead of replacing the full trimmer. Replacement blades are identified by part numbers PF0400 and PF0440. This feature keeps the trimmer body in use while restoring a sharp cutting edge with a replacement blade.

• Patented guillotine-style cutting action
• Replacement blade system for the trimmer
• Replacement blade part numbers PF0400 and PF0440

Is the Large size suitable for my dog?

This Large size is engineered for dogs needing a large-breed nail trimmer, and it is also presented as a one-size-fits-all option. Choose it for pet nail care where a guillotine-style cutting action and controlled trimming are the desired format. The kit is intended for dog nail grooming, with the file and styptic powder included to support the routine beyond the cut itself.

The large-dog sizing and the stated one-size-fits-all use describe the intended fit for this trimmer. Its non-slip grips are designed to help the handler keep a steady hand during a grooming session, while the guillotine mechanism provides the cutting action. The included tools address smoothing and minor bleeding as part of the same nail-care set.

• Large-dog size
• Also positioned as a one-size-fits-all option

What are the trimmer’s handle and materials?

The trimmer is made with heavy-duty American steel and a chrome-plated finish. Its Deluxe series finish uses a powder coat, and non-slip grips are designed to provide leverage and comfort during grooming. The grips help support a steady hold for controlled nail trimming.

The combination of a coated finish and non-slip grip gives the tool its distinctive Resco Deluxe styling and handling features. The steel construction and chrome plating are specific to the trimmer; the kit also supplies the replaceable blade, file and styptic powder for grooming tasks beyond the tool’s construction.

• Heavy-duty American steel

This kit suits dog owners who want a guillotine-style nail trimmer with a replacement blade and finishing tools in one set, particularly for large dogs. It is made for controlled nail grooming and includes a file for rough edges and styptic powder for minor bleeding.
