Keeping a dog’s nails trimmed can be easier to manage with a tool sized for the dog and supplies for finishing the nail edges. This set is made for small and medium dogs and brings together a guillotine trimmer, a replacement blade, a sapphire file and styptic powder for routine nail grooming at home or in a grooming setting.

What comes in the Resco nail grooming kit?

The kit contains Fresco Original nail clippers, one replaceable clipper blade, a sapphire nail file and Gold Medal styptic. The trimmer is the USA-made guillotine-style tool; the file is for smoothing rough edges after trimming, while the styptic powder is fast-acting and intended to help stop minor bleeding.

• One nail trimmer for guillotine-style cutting.
• One replacement cutting blade.
• One sapphire nail file for rough edges.
• Gold Medal styptic powder for minor bleeding.

How does the Resco guillotine trimmer cut nails?

Its patented guillotine blade action is designed to make a clean cut and help prevent crushing or splintering during standard grooming. The non-slip grips support a steady hold, leverage and control as you position the trimmer for a precise cut. When the cutting edge becomes dull, the replaceable-blade design allows the blade to be changed while keeping the trimmer.

• Replacement blade part numbers: PF0400 and PF0440.
• Deluxe finish uses a powder coat in Resco’s recognizable colors.
• Chrome plating and heavy-duty American steel are specified for the trimmer.

Which dogs is this Resco nail clipper kit sized for?

This version is engineered for small and medium-sized dogs that need controlled guillotine-style nail trimming. Its stated sizing is based on dog size, rather than a measurement of the nail, so choose it for small-to-medium breed grooming needs. The grip design supports control during a standard trimming routine.

• Designed for small and medium-sized dogs.
• Guillotine-style cutting for controlled nail care.
• Non-slip grips for a secure hold during grooming.

This kit suits dog owners and grooming professionals caring for small and medium-sized dogs who want a trimmer, spare blade, nail file and styptic together.
