• 3 mm PVC-coated steel safety cable and top latch — help reduce wobble while a dog climbs.
• 15.7 × 8.8 in (39.9 × 22.4 cm) steps with removable felt pads — provide a padded, non-slip surface that can be cleaned.
• Folds to 17 × 13 × 5.3 in (43.2 × 33 × 13.5 cm) and weighs 12.5 lb (5.7 kg) — convenient to carry and store in a trunk.

Getting into a vehicle can involve a high step that asks dogs to jump, especially for senior or large dogs. RISELITE stairs provide a four-step route into a compatible rear cargo area. They are designed for SUVs, crossovers, hatchbacks, and car trunks, with a fold-flat form for moving between the vehicle, garage, and home.

Will these dog stairs fit my SUV or car?

RISELITE 4-step dog stairs are designed for cargo entry heights from 20 to 24 inches. Before choosing them, measure vertically from the ground to the vehicle’s cargo floor and compare that height with the stairs’ range. The same fit guidance applies to SUV cargo areas, crossovers, hatchbacks, and car trunks. For taller pickup tailgates, the 5-step model is the intended option.

• Measure from the ground to the cargo floor.
• Use the stairs on a flat, stable surface.

How do the stairs support a dog while climbing?

The stairs combine a side-mounted 3 mm PVC-coated steel cable lock with a top safety latch to help reduce wobble during use. Reinforced galvanized steel tubing has a 0.7 mm wall thickness, and steel mesh forms the step bases. The powder-coated metal frame helps resist rust, flex, and everyday outdoor wear, while the stairs support dogs weighing up to 200 lb.

• Four steps create a climbing route into the rear cargo area.
• Use on a flat, stable surface for climbing.

What are the steps like, and how do the stairs fold?

Each step measures 15.7 inches wide by 8.8 inches deep, with a 4 mm felt pad attached by hook-and-loop backing. The pads are removable for cleaning after muddy outdoor trips. Folded, the stairs measure 17 × 13 × 5.3 inches and weigh 12.5 pounds. A reinforced center crossbar wrapped in Oxford cloth serves as a carry handle.

• Compare the tread size with your dog’s body size, stride, and mobility needs.
• Remove the felt pads for cleaning.

These stairs suit owners helping a large or senior dog reach a compatible car or SUV cargo area without relying on a jump. Their defined entry-height range, padded treads, steel construction, and fold-flat design make them a practical fit for vehicle access and trunk storage. They are intended for 20–24-inch cargo entries rather than taller pickup tailgates.
