This toy is for dogs who enjoy active play, chewing and discovering what is inside a toy. Its tug, fetch and toss play options make it suitable for shared play or independent exploration, while the tear-apart design provides an engaging surprise. It can also be given as a birthday, Christmas or just-because gift. Riverdog Pet Supplies is a small business owned by a firefighter, veteran and minority.

What does the rip-and-reveal design offer?

The toy’s two plush layers can be torn apart to reveal a hidden, lightweight, near-indestructible bouncing ball. The ball floats on water, adding another way to play. The toy has no stuffing, so there is no loose filling inside to make a mess.

• Made for tugging, fetch and toss.
• Reinforced stitching supports its construction for tough play.
• The ball is a surprise inside the plush layers.

How does the toy keep play engaging?

A squeaker and crinkle sounds offer auditory features, while the textured ball adds a tactile element. These features are designed to tap into dogs’ natural prey drive and hunting instincts, encourage physical exercise and provide puzzle-like entertainment that can help reduce boredom and burn energy.

• Textured ball materials are intended to help clean teeth by flossing and reduce plaque, tartar and buildup.
• The ball’s flexible texture massages gums and may help ease teething discomfort.
• Interactive play encourages mental stimulation, healthy chewing habits and bonding with your dog.

What should owners know about use and safety?

The toy is intended for supervised play and is not meant to be eaten or swallowed. If the layers tear, they are not reusable. Riverdog describes it as a behavior aid designed to help curb excessive barking, unwanted gnawing, separation anxiety and boredom; it encourages play and chewing rather than promising a particular behavior outcome.

• Embroidered details are included for added safety.
• Keep play supervised, and remove torn layers from use.
• The materials are described as pet-safe, food-grade-safe, BPA-free, odorless and non-toxic.

Riverdog Pet Supplies’ toy suits large dogs and other dogs drawn to tugging, fetching, chewing and rip-and-reveal play, as well as shoppers looking for a dog birthday or holiday gift. It is designed for supervised play, and torn layers are not reusable.
