RoudyBush Daily Maintenance Bird Food is a complete crumble-pellet diet for everyday feeding, supplied in a 2.75 lb (1.25 kg) package with a finely broken texture.

• Created by avian nutritionist Tom Roudybush — brings an experienced bird-nutrition perspective to daily feeding.
• Suitable for parrots (psittacines) and other pet species — offers a diet option for a range of companion birds and pets.
• Complete feed when used as the primary diet — simplifies a bird’s regular feeding routine without additional supplements.
• Made with corn, ground wheat, soybean meal and other components — provides a grain-based formula for everyday feeding.
• Serve with fresh water and occasional fruits or vegetables — adds variety alongside the primary diet.

For bird owners looking for a consistent food to make part of a daily care routine, these crumbles are formulated for ongoing maintenance feeding. The smaller, softer pieces also make the format relevant for birds that prefer finer textures or are moving between pellet sizes.

What is RoudyBush Daily Maintenance Bird Food for?

It is made to serve as a regular maintenance diet for companion birds and other suitable pet species. Tom Roudybush created the formula, drawing on years of work focused on feeding companion birds. When this complete feed is offered as the primary diet, the formula removes the need for added supplements. That makes it a straightforward choice for owners who want one core food in the daily routine.

• Designed for routine maintenance feeding, rather than a specialty feeding formula.
• Produced in a modern facility using consistent manufacturing standards.

Are these crumbles suitable for birds that prefer smaller pieces?

Yes. The pellets are broken into soft, fine crumbles for birds that prefer smaller or softer pieces. Their easy-to-pick-up texture can also be useful when a bird is transitioning between pellet sizes. This format is intended to make everyday feeding simple for birds whose preferences suit a finer piece of food.

• Finely broken pieces provide a different texture from larger pellet sizes.
• The crumble format can suit birds in the process of changing pellet size.

How do I serve this bird food?

Offer it as the primary diet, with fresh water available and occasional fruits or vegetables for variety. The package contains 44 ounces (1.25 kg) of food, providing a practical supply for household feeding routines. RoudyBush has decades of experience in bird nutrition and offers a broader range that includes pellet diets, hand-feeding formulas, nectar blends and specialty options.
