• Low-profile design — wear it on its own in cool weather or layer it under a shell.
• Back leash portal and side-release buckles — connect through most harnesses and gear up quickly.
• Coverage over the hips and thighs — helps warm key muscles while allowing a natural stride.
• Optional stretch leg loops, reflective trim and a light loop — useful features for windy or low-light outings.

For dogs heading out in crisp, cold conditions, this fleece vest provides coverage without a bulky silhouette. It is suited to winter walks, snowy hikes and cool morning outings, and can be worn alone or as a layer when the weather changes.

How does the vest provide warmth for outdoor walks?

The Climate Changer uses quick-drying fleece to manage moisture while providing breathable warmth. Its low-profile shape makes it practical for a dog that needs an extra layer but still needs to move comfortably outdoors.

• The fleece is made from 100% recycled polyester.
• The finish is designed to resist pilling.
• Wear the vest by itself in cool temperatures or beneath a shell when conditions call for another layer.

Can I use the vest with my dog’s harness?

Yes, the back leash portal works over most harnesses, giving you access to the leash connection while the vest is worn. Side-release buckles make it quicker to put on and take off.

• The portal is positioned on the back of the vest.
• Harness compatibility covers most harnesses, not every possible style.

Does the fit allow movement and cover the legs?

The active-fit silhouette extends over the hips and thighs while preserving a natural stride. A cut designed for freedom of movement helps minimize chafing, and soft stretch cuffs sit comfortably around the legs.

• Optional stretch leg loops can help block drafts and keep the vest secure in blustery conditions.
• Reflective trim and a light loop add visibility when the sky is overcast.

Ruffwear Climate Changer Dog Fleece Vest in Cedar Green, X-Small, suits dogs that need a lightweight layer for cold-weather walks, hikes and everyday outings. Its fleece construction, extended coverage and movement-focused fit bring warmth and outdoor practicality together in one vest.
