For active dogs, a harness needs to allow movement while giving the handler useful points for guidance and assistance. The Flagline is made for everyday walks as well as hikes and runs, and its lift-assist features can help when a dog needs support over an obstacle or up a set of stairs.

How does the Flagline harness support active dogs?

The lightweight, minimalist design is intended to let dogs move freely during walks, hikes, and runs. Ruffwear describes the feel as offering off-leash-like freedom; the harness is also designed for use with a leash.

• Made for dogs on the go.
• Suitable for active outings with small, medium, and large dogs when the correct size is selected.

How can the harness help with lifting and leash guidance?

A padded top handle and belly panel provide lift assist, while the leash attachments give handlers different ways to guide a dog. The back attachment is a V-ring, and reinforced loops are positioned on the chest and rear.

• Use the lift-assist features to help a dog into a car, over rocks, or up stairs.
• Attachment options support training, no-pull guidance, or changing walking style.

How do I choose the right fit?

Use the Ruffwear sizing chart image and how-to-fit video to measure your dog and select a suitable size. The adjustment system is designed to create a snug, stay-put fit for varied body shapes, including deep-chested dogs and growing puppies.

• Adjust the harness at six points for a customized fit.
• Correct fit is intended to reduce chafing, slipping, and loosening during movement.
