Ruffwear Float Coat Dog Life Jacket, Large Wave Orange with Adjustable Fit

The Ruffwear Float Coat is a Large dog life jacket for swimming and paddling, designed to provide flotation with strategically placed foam panels.

• Wave Orange, Large — identifies the colour and size of this Float Coat.
• Foam panels support a dog’s natural swimming position — helping provide flotation without restricting movement.
• Adjustable telescoping neck closure — allows a snug, stay-put fit across a wide range of dog types.
• Reinforced, low-profile handle — helps you lift or assist your dog back into a boat or up onto a dock.
• Sizing chart image and how-to-fit video — support accurate measuring when choosing a size.

For dogs joining their people on lake swims, river outings, surf sessions, boating trips or paddleboarding, a life jacket adds flotation and a way to assist at the water’s edge. The Float Coat is made for these water activities, with features intended to support swimming and help with lifting when needed.

How does the Float Coat support a dog in the water?

Strategically placed foam panels are designed to support a dog’s natural swim position while providing flotation. The panel placement is intended to allow movement rather than restrict it, making the vest suitable for swimming, floating and paddling.

• Designed for lakes, rivers and surf.
• Supports a natural swimming position.

How does the Float Coat fit different dogs?

The adjustable telescoping neck closure lets you adjust the vest for a snug fit, including on deep-chested and hard-to-fit dogs. Ruffwear provides a sizing chart image and a how-to-fit video to help you measure your dog before choosing the Large size.

• Fit is adjustable at the neck.
• Made to accommodate a wide range of dog types.

Good to know: use the sizing chart and fitting guidance to check your dog’s measurements against the Large size before purchase.

What is the handle for?

The reinforced, low-profile handle is positioned to help you lift or assist your dog out of the water and back into a boat or up onto a dock. It can be useful during boating and paddleboarding, as well as in other moments when your dog needs assistance near the water.

• Reinforced construction.
• Designed for lifting and assistance.

The Ruffwear Float Coat suits dog owners looking for a life jacket for swimming and water outings, particularly those who want adjustable neck fit and a handle for assistance. It is designed for flotation and support in the water, with a fit that can be checked using Ruffwear’s sizing chart and how-to-fit video.
