Ruffwear Front Range Dog Chest Harness, Small Coastal Mountains, Dual Leash Clips and Padding

Ruffwear Front Range is a small dog chest harness for everyday walks and outdoor outings, with two leash attachment points and four adjustment points for a tailored fit.

• Aluminum back V-ring and reinforced chest webbing — offer two leash attachment options, including one for redirecting dogs that tend to pull.
• Four adjustment points and side-release buckles — help you set a secure fit across a range of dog shapes.
• Closed-cell foam padding in the chest and belly panels — cushions the areas that contact your dog during extended wear.
• Reflective trim and a Beacon Light loop — support visibility in low light; the Beacon Light is sold separately.
• Small size in the Coastal Mountains colorway — a size and color option for your dog’s harness.

This harness is made for walks, hikes, and other outings where you want leash attachment options and a fit that can be adjusted to your dog. The two connection locations serve different walking needs, while the padded panels and reflective details address comfort and visibility during use. For a size-specific fit, use the sizing chart image and how-to-fit video to measure your dog.

Where can I attach a leash?

The Front Range has a V-ring on the back and reinforced webbing at the chest. The back connection suits everyday walks, while the chest connection gives you an option for redirecting a dog that tends to pull. These two points let you choose where to clip in based on the kind of walk and the control you want to work toward.

• The rear attachment is an aluminum V-ring.
• The chest attachment uses reinforced webbing.

How do I get the right fit in the small size?

Use the Ruffwear sizing chart image and how-to-fit video to measure your dog and choose the appropriate fit. Four adjustment points let you fine-tune how the harness sits, and side-release buckles make it easier to put on and remove. Because the fit depends on your dog’s measurements, compare them with the sizing guidance before choosing this small harness.

• Adjust the harness at four points.
• Fasten it with the side-release buckles.

Is it suited to long walks and low-light outings?

Closed-cell foam in the chest and belly panels provides cushioned support intended to help prevent chafing during extended wear. Reflective trim helps your dog stand out in low-light conditions such as dawn or dusk. A dedicated loop accommodates a Ruffwear Beacon Light when you want to use one; that light is sold separately.

• Padded panels are positioned at the chest and belly.
• The Beacon Light loop is built into the harness.

The Ruffwear Front Range suits dog owners looking for a small, adjustable chest harness for everyday walks, hikes, and longer outings, with a choice of leash connection points and details for low-light visibility. It is a harness for walking and outdoor use, with fit selected using your dog’s measurements and Ruffwear’s sizing guidance.
