Ruffwear Front Range Dog Chest Harness, XX-Small Coastal Mountains, Padded and Adjustable

Ruffwear’s Front Range Dog Chest Harness is an adjustable harness for everyday walks and greater control, with two leash attachment points and a cushioned chest and belly.

• Back V-ring and chest leash attachment — choose a connection for everyday walks or redirecting a dog that pulls.
• Closed-cell foam padding at the chest and belly — cushioned support helps prevent chafing during extended wear.
• Four adjustment points and side-release buckles — tune the fit while allowing comfortable, natural movement.
• Reflective trim and a Beacon Light loop — add visibility features for walks in lower light; the light is sold separately.
• XX-Small size in Coastal Mountains — use the sizing chart image and fitting video to help measure your dog.

A harness needs to stay comfortable as a dog moves while giving the handler useful leash options. The Front Range is made for everyday outings, and its padded panels also suit longer walks, hikes, and all-day adventures. Its two leash connection locations offer a choice for routine walking or redirecting dogs that tend to pull.

Where can I attach a leash, and what are the options for walks?

The Ruffwear Front Range Dog Chest Harness has a leash point on the back and another at the chest. The back connection is an aluminum V-ring, while reinforced webbing forms the chest attachment. These two locations give you options for everyday walks or for redirecting a dog that tends to pull, supporting more controlled outings.

• Use the back V-ring as one leash connection option.
• Choose the reinforced chest webbing for the second connection option.

How do I choose the right fit in XX-Small?

This Ruffwear Front Range Dog Chest Harness is the XX-Small size, with four points of adjustment to help dial in the fit. Measure your dog using the sizing chart image and the how-to-fit video as guides; a correctly fitted harness is intended to support comfort and control. Durable side-release buckles make it possible to fasten and release the harness.

• Use both the sizing chart image and fitting video when measuring.
• Adjust at four points for a more tailored fit across different dog shapes.

What makes the harness suitable for longer wear?

The Ruffwear Front Range Dog Chest Harness has closed-cell foam padding in its chest and belly panels. The cushioning helps prevent chafing during extended wear, making the harness suited to long walks, hikes, and all-day adventures. The adjustable fit is designed to let a dog move comfortably and naturally.

• Padding is placed at both the chest and belly.
• The design combines cushioned panels with adjustable fit points.

Can I improve visibility in low light?

The Ruffwear Front Range Dog Chest Harness has reflective trim and a dedicated loop for a Ruffwear Beacon Light, which is sold separately. The reflective details and light-ready loop are intended to help your dog stand out in lower-light conditions, including at dawn or dusk.

• The Beacon Light does not come with the harness; it is sold separately.
• Reflective trim is integrated into the harness.

This XX-Small Coastal Mountains harness suits dog owners looking for adjustable support and leash-attachment choices for everyday walks, longer outings, or redirecting a dog that pulls. Its padded chest and belly, two leash connection points, and low-light visibility details make it a practical fit for those uses.
