Ruffwear Sun Shower Dog Raincoat, Medium Mineral Yellow, Lightweight Weatherproof Coverage

Ruffwear Sun Shower Dog Raincoat is a lightweight dog rain layer designed to block rain and wind, with a seam-sealed 70D/210D ripstop shell and an extended vest-style cut.

• Seam-sealed ripstop shell — helps shield dogs from rain and wind on trails and in changeable weather.
• Oversized storm collar and longer cut — add coverage over the hips and thighs.
• Adjustable leg loops — help keep the coat in place in gusty conditions.
• Back leash portal — lets the coat be worn over most harnesses while retaining leash access.
• Side-release buckles and a hem cinch — make dressing easier and allow fit adjustment for active movement.
• Packable build, reflective trim and an integrated light loop — support storage and visibility; the Ruffwear Beacon Light is sold separately.

Made for rainy trail days and other unpredictable outdoor conditions, the Sun Shower gives dogs a weatherproof outer layer with coverage that extends beyond the back. Its design combines leash access, adjustable fit features and visibility details for outings in changing weather and at low-light times of day.

What weather protection does the Ruffwear Sun Shower Dog Raincoat provide?

Its seam-sealed 70D/210D ripstop fabric blocks rain and wind. The shell is lightweight, so the coat is easy to pack for an outing when the weather may change. The vest-style design extends coverage over the hips and thighs, while the oversized storm collar adds protection around the neck.

• The Mineral Yellow color makes this medium coat easy to identify among your dog’s gear.
• The shell is made for a weatherproof layer, rather than a heavy insulated garment.

How does the coat fit, and can it go over a harness?

The Medium coat includes a back leash portal that works over most harnesses, so the leash can remain accessible through the rain layer. Adjustable leg loops help hold the longer cut in place, and the hem cinch lets you customize the fit for active movement. For sizing, measure your dog and use Ruffwear’s sizing chart to choose the right size.

• Side-release buckles make the coat easier to put on and take off, including for wiggly dogs.
• The sizing chart is the fit reference for choosing among Ruffwear coat sizes.

How does the Sun Shower support visibility on outings?

Reflective trim and an integrated light loop add visibility features for early-morning and late-night walks. The loop is designed for Ruffwear’s Beacon Light, which is sold separately; the raincoat itself provides the attachment point.

• The lightweight design is packable for storage between outings.
• The leash portal preserves access to most harnesses while your dog wears the coat.

The Ruffwear Sun Shower Dog Raincoat suits dog owners looking for a packable rain-and-wind layer with extended coverage, adjustable fit details and leash access over most harnesses. Its Medium size, weatherproof ripstop shell and visibility features make it a practical choice for outdoor outings in wet or changeable conditions.
