Ruffwear Sun Shower Dog Raincoat, X-Small Mineral Yellow, Extended Coverage

Ruffwear Sun Shower is a dog raincoat designed to help keep dogs dry and comfortable in rain and wind, with a seam-sealed ripstop shell and an adjustable, extended-coverage fit.

• Seam-sealed 70D/210D ripstop shell — helps block rain and wind.
• Oversized storm collar and longer vest-style cut — extend coverage over the hips and thighs.
• Adjustable leg loops — help keep the coat in place in gusty weather.
• Back leash portal — allows wear over most harnesses while maintaining coverage and leash access.
• Side-release buckles and hem cinch — make the coat easier to put on and adjust for movement.
• Lightweight, packable design with reflective trim and an integrated light loop — supports easy storage and added visibility; Beacon Light is sold separately.

For wet-weather walks and outdoor outings, this coat provides coverage without requiring a dog to wear a separate rain layer over its harness. Its adjustable details help accommodate active movement, while the packable construction is convenient to store between outings.

How does the Sun Shower help protect a dog from rain?

The seam-sealed 70D/210D ripstop shell is made to block rain and wind, helping keep a dog dry and comfortable in unpredictable weather. Its extended vest-style shape covers the hips and thighs, and the oversized storm collar adds coverage around the neck.

• Made for wet and windy conditions.
• Longer cut extends protection beyond the torso.

Can the raincoat be worn with a harness?

Yes. The back leash portal lets you connect a leash through the coat while your dog wears most harnesses underneath. Side-release buckles make the coat easier to put on and take off, and the hem cinch adjusts the fit for movement.

• Adjustable leg loops help limit shifting during gusty weather.
• The hem can be cinched to customize the fit.

How do I choose the right size and use its visibility features?

This listing is for the Mineral Yellow Sun Shower in X-Small. Ruffwear’s sizing chart explains how to measure your dog so you can select a suitable size; use your dog’s measurements rather than breed alone when choosing. Reflective trim adds a visibility detail, and the integrated light loop is designed for a Ruffwear Beacon Light.

• The Beacon Light is sold separately.
• The lightweight coat packs down for storage between outings.

The X-Small Sun Shower suits shoppers looking for an adjustable raincoat for a dog whose measurements match Ruffwear’s size chart, especially for walks in wet or gusty weather. It combines weather-blocking fabric, extended coverage and a leash portal compatible with most harnesses.
