Bathing a dog that wriggles can make washing more difficult. This suction-cup tether is designed to hold a dog in place while you bathe, groom or trim them, and it can also be used to anchor a dog during meals or play. Its adjustable attachment height makes it possible to reposition the tether for different dogs and tasks.

How does the suction cup adjust and attach?

The vacuum-pump mechanism lets you change the tether height by releasing the suction cup and securing it again at the desired position. The red indicator line helps you check the cup’s security status once attached. The large cup base is designed to provide suction force, with a stated capacity of up to 260 lb (118 kg).

• Release and resecure the cup to change its height.
• Use the red line as a visual security-status check.

Which surfaces can I attach the Ruppence tether to?

Attach the cup to a smooth, flat surface such as a shower wall, bathtub, glass, tile floor or the side of a car. The surface needs to be flat and smooth for attachment; grout lines, textured surfaces and porous surfaces are not recommended.

• Suitable examples include glass and tile.
• Avoid grout lines and textured or porous areas.

What activities is this dog tether made for?

The Ruppence suction-cup tether is made to anchor a dog during bathing, grooming, trimming, meals or play. Its high-elasticity nylon leash connects the dog to the suction-cup anchor, while the height can be adjusted for the task. The product is intended for dogs of small, medium and large sizes, within the stated 260 lb (118 kg) capacity.

• Use it for bathing, grooming or trimming routines.
• It can also anchor a dog during meals or play.
