Potty training can take practice, and an indoor pad gives your dog a designated place to go. Scott Pet Guard pads are made for use around the home, whether you are teaching a puppy where to potty or providing a familiar spot for a dog of any size. The built-in training scent is designed to attract dogs to the pad and help minimize accidents elsewhere.

How do these pads help with dog potty training?

The training scent is designed to guide dogs toward the pad, while the absorbent, multi-layer construction manages moisture after use. Together, these features make the pads useful for establishing an indoor potty routine and protecting the floor beneath the chosen spot.

• Place the pad in an area where you want your dog to potty.
• Odor control technology helps manage smells during use.

What size is the XL pad, and who does it suit?

Each XL pad measures 30 x 36 in (76.2 x 91.44 cm), providing a broad area for dogs to use during training. Scott Pet Guard pads are designed for dogs of all sizes, and the range also includes L pads measuring 22 x 22 in (55.88 x 55.88 cm) and XXL pads measuring 36 x 36 in (91.44 x 91.44 cm). Compare the pad dimensions with the floor space available for your dog’s potty area.

• This pack contains 20 XL pads.
• The water-resistant plastic backing sits beneath the absorbent layers to help shield flooring.

How does the pad manage moisture, and how do you dispose of it?

A super-absorbent core locks in moisture for up to 12 hours, and the pads have multiple soft layers of protection. The water-resistant backing helps prevent spills from reaching the floor, while Leak Lock technology is designed to provide up to 100% leak-free performance. These pads are disposable: simply throw each one away after use.

• Use the pad as a single-use potty-training surface.
• The layered design combines absorbency with a water-resistant backing.

Scott Pet Guard XL pads suit pet parents who want a large, disposable indoor training surface with a scent intended to guide dogs to the right spot. They are designed for potty training and floor protection, with a 20-count pack of 30 x 36 in pads and a moisture-locking core.
