Seenelling Extra Large Slow Feed Hay Ball, 15.75-Inch Purple with 12 Feeding Openings

Seenelling is an extra-large slow feed hay ball designed to extend hay feeding and encourage natural grazing, with a 15.75-inch (40.0 cm) body and 12 feeding openings.

• Natural-grazing design — slows hay consumption and helps keep feeding time engaging.
• 12 feeding openings — let horses access hay from multiple angles at a slower pace.
• Wide, twist-lock removable lid — makes filling straightforward and helps keep hay inside.
• Adjustable hanging strap with buckle — gives you the option to hang the ball or set it on the ground.
• Thick, odor-free PP plastic — made for kicking, rolling and everyday outdoor use.

For horses that eat hay quickly or need more to do during stall rest, turnout or travel, a slow feeder can make feeding time more interactive. Seenelling’s hay ball encourages foraging and movement, and its roomy format is intended to provide longer-lasting engagement between refills. It can also be used for goats, sheep, alpacas and donkeys.

How does the hay ball encourage slower feeding?

The ball has 12 evenly spaced openings, each 2.76 inches (7.01 cm) across, so horses draw hay out through feeding ports rather than eating from an open pile. This design is intended to extend feeding time, reduce boredom and encourage healthier eating habits while helping minimize hay waste and promote better digestion.

• Access hay from multiple sides of the ball.
• Use it for daily feeding or as enrichment during stall rest, turnout or travel.

How do you fill the Seenelling hay ball?

Open the wide twist-lock lid, load hay into the ball, then secure the lid to keep the hay inside. The removable lid provides access for filling, while the multiple feeding openings make hay available around the ball.

• The lid twists open and locks back into place.
• The spacious design holds plenty of hay for extended engagement and fewer frequent refills.

Can you hang the ball or use it on the ground?

Yes. Use the adjustable hanging strap and buckle to suspend the ball, or place it directly on the ground for rolling and interactive play. Hanging locations include stalls, trailers and paddocks.

• The hanging option encourages movement and natural foraging.
• Ground use lets the ball roll as the animal interacts with it.

What is the hay ball made for in everyday barn use?

Seenelling uses thick, odor-free PP plastic for the ball and a tear-resistant nylon strap with a reinforced buckle. The construction is intended to withstand kicking, rolling and regular outdoor use.

• Suitable for horses and other grazing animals.
• Designed for everyday feeding and enrichment settings.

Seenelling’s hay ball suits horse owners looking to add foraging activity to daily feeding, controlled feeding programs or periods when a horse needs extra mental stimulation. It is also suitable for goats, sheep, alpacas and donkeys. Its hanging strap, ground-use option and multiple hay openings support interactive feeding in a range of barn and turnout settings.
