Indoor cats need ways to move, investigate and express natural hunting behaviours. Loco Motion turns play into an opportunity for physical activity and mental stimulation: its moving feather gives cats an unpredictable target to follow, helping make chasing and pouncing part of playtime. It is made for interactive feline play at home, including for cats that need encouragement to get moving.

How does the moving wand encourage cats to play?

The springy wand swings and sways its dangling feather in erratic, changing directions to imitate prey movement. Cats can follow the shifting target and respond with swats, chases and pounces, engaging both their prey drive and their attention. This hunt-inspired play is designed to bring movement into a cat’s routine; active play can support exercise and stimulation without promising a particular health outcome.

• Unpredictable motion gives cats a moving target to follow.
• Chasing and pouncing make play more physically active.
• The feather teaser is attached to an electronically moving wand.

How do you adjust the speed and choose a play session?

Start by turning the dial fully clockwise to set the highest speed, then press the TIMER button for a timed session or ON/OFF for continuous play. After the wand starts moving, turn the dial counterclockwise to slow its movement as desired. For timed play, one press of TIMER selects 15 minutes; eight presses set a two-hour session. The timer option is designed to help conserve battery life.

• Use the speed dial to change the wand’s movement while it is running.
• Select a timed session or continuous play with the labeled controls.
• Follow the included instructions for operation.
