What does the Smiry mat catch at the entrance?

The chenille mat is designed to trap dirt and quickly absorb moisture brought in on paws and shoes. It is suitable for mess from rain, snow, slush and sleet, as well as dust, grit, muck, sand and grass. Its soft surface also adds a comfortable layer underfoot and on cold floors for pets.

• Use it as an entryway, welcome or dirt-trapping mat.
• Its soft chenille surface is made for contact with paws and feet.

Will the mat stay in place and clear the door?

The textured rubber backing helps keep the mat from sliding, while its low-pile design is made to avoid catching in the door. Place it only on a completely dry floor; a damp surface can affect grip.

• Suitable locations include entryways, lobbies, offices, garages, barns, driveways and other public areas.
• The design comes in sophisticated colors to suit a range of spaces.

How should I care for the mat around pets?

Use the mat for paw and foot cleaning, and prevent pets from chewing, scratching or pulling it apart. Inspect it regularly for loose fibers or wear, vacuum to remove loose fibers, and replace it promptly if damaged; swallowed scraps can risk digestive upset.

• Check the surface regularly for damage or loose fibers.
• Vacuum regularly and replace the mat if damage appears.
• Its sturdy construction is intended to help it keep its look and feel over time.

The Smiry Dog Door Mat suits households looking for a soft entry mat to help manage muddy paws, damp shoes and everyday outdoor debris. It is intended for paw and foot cleaning, with pet supervision and regular inspection important to its use.
