• Pull-on hooded design with no closures — makes it quick to put on for indoor or outdoor wear.

For dogs that need an everyday layer during the cold season, this hoodie combines a sweatshirt-style fit with a fleece interior. Its flexible fabric is designed to move with your dog on walks, runs and play, as well as during relaxed time at home. It is made for cool, dry days; for wet weather, wear a dog raincoat over it.

How warm is the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie for walks?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie is made for everyday walks in cool and cold conditions, with soft fleece inside a stretch shell. Its fabric gives as your dog moves, making it suitable for regular activity rather than saving for occasional photos. For deep-freeze conditions, the hoodie can be worn beneath a lined winter coat or jacket as an additional layer.

• Designed for walks, runs and play during the cold season.
• Not waterproof; use a raincoat over the hoodie on wet days.

Does this hoodie suit dogs with broad chests?

Yes. The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie has a cut tested on a range of dogs, with room for broad-chested breeds including French Bulldogs, Pitbulls, English Bulldogs and Labradors. The fit is intended for female and male dogs without restricting movement, and the size range also covers small puppies and medium dogs. To choose a size, measure your dog’s chest girth and compare it with the size chart shown in the product images.

• Eight sizes are available, from Small through 5XL.
• If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger size.
• Many buyers choose Large or above.

Can I attach a leash without taking the hoodie off?

Yes. A discreet opening in the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie provides access to a harness worn underneath, so you can clip on a leash while the hoodie stays on. The design pulls over your dog’s head and has a hood, with no closures to fasten. This makes it a straightforward layer to put on before heading out or wearing around the house.

• Works with a harness worn beneath the hoodie.
• The leash opening is built into the garment.

How should I wash the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie?

Machine wash the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie in cold water and line dry it. The fabric blend contains polyester, cotton and spandex, and its four-way stretch gives your dog room to move through everyday wear. Keep its intended use in mind: it is an everyday warm layer for dry conditions, not a waterproof garment.

• Machine wash cold.
• Line dry.

This hoodie suits dog owners looking for a flexible, fleece-lined layer for everyday cold-season wear, particularly for dogs with broad chests or those that wear a harness under their clothes. Its pull-on shape, built-in leash access and eight-size range make it a practical option for walks and time at home. For the intended fit, compare your dog’s chest girth with the size chart and size up when between sizes.
