Is this hoodie warm enough for winter walks?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie has a fleece lining and a 4-way stretch outer shell for everyday cool- and cold-weather walks. For deep freezes, wear it under a lined winter coat or jacket rather than relying on the hoodie as the only outer layer. The soft fabric is designed for regular wear through the cold season.

• Suitable for everyday walks, runs, play, and indoor wear.
• Can be layered under a lined winter coat or jacket for deep freezes.

How do I choose the right size and fit?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie comes in eight sizes from Small to 5XL, with sizing options for puppies and small, medium, large, and XL dogs. Measure your dog's chest girth and compare it with the size chart in the product images; choose the larger size if your dog falls between two sizes. The cut provides room for broad-chested dogs, including French Bulldogs, pit bulls, English Bulldogs, and Labradors, and is made for female and male dogs.

• Most buyers choose Large or larger.
• Check chest girth against the size chart before choosing.

Can my dog wear a harness with the hoodie?

Yes, the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie has a discreet leash opening so you can attach a leash to a harness underneath without removing the hoodie. It pulls on over your dog's head, with a hood and no fiddly closures. The 4-way stretch fabric gives with your dog's movement during walks and play.

• Harness stays underneath the hoodie.
• Pull-on construction has no closures to fasten.

Is the hoodie waterproof, and how should I wash it?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie is not waterproof, so it is intended for cool, dry days rather than wet-weather protection. For rainy outings, layer a dog raincoat over it. Machine wash it in cold water and line dry to help maintain the soft feel of the fabric.

• Use a raincoat over the hoodie on wet days.
• Machine wash cold and line dry.

This hoodie suits dogs that need a soft, flexible layer for everyday cool-weather wear, particularly dogs with broad chests and owners who want to keep a harness on underneath. It is not designed to provide waterproof protection or serve as the sole layer in deep freezes. Its fleece lining, stretch fabric, and built-in leash opening make it a practical choice for dry-day walks and daily wear.
