For dogs that need an everyday layer when the weather turns cool, this hoodie combines the feel of a dog sweater with the easy wear of a sweatshirt. Its stretch fabric is made to move through walks, runs and play, as well as relaxed time at home. The design is for cool, dry days; it is not waterproof.

How should I choose a size for my dog?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie comes in eight sizes, from Small to 5XL. Measure your dog’s chest girth, compare it with the size chart in the images, and choose the larger size if your dog is between sizes. The cut has been fit tested on a wide range of dogs, including breeds with broad chests.

• Sizes span small puppies through medium and large dogs.
• Most buyers choose Large or larger.

Can my dog wear it with a harness?

Yes, the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie has a discreet leash opening for clipping a leash to a harness worn underneath. The opening provides access without taking the hoodie off, so the pull-on layer can stay on during the walk.

• The opening is built into the hoodie.
• The design works with a harness worn underneath.

Is this hoodie suitable for rain or deep-freeze weather?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie is made for cool, dry days, not wet weather. It is not waterproof, so add a dog raincoat over it on rainy days. In deep freezes, wear it underneath a lined winter coat or jacket.

• Machine wash cold.
• Line dry.

What is the fabric and how does the hoodie go on?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie uses a soft fleece lining and a butter-stretch outer fabric made from 67% polyester, 30% cotton and 3% spandex. The pull-on hooded design slips over your dog without fiddly closures, while the 4-way stretch allows movement during everyday wear.

• Designed for male and female dogs.
• Suitable for wearing at home or outdoors.

This hoodie suits dog owners looking for a stretch, fleece-lined layer for everyday wear in cool, dry conditions, especially when a broad chest or access to an underlayer harness matters. It is not a waterproof outer layer, and dogs facing deep freezes need a lined winter coat over it. Its eight-size range, pull-on fit and built-in leash opening make it a practical layer for cool-weather walks and play.
