How should I choose a size for my dog?

Measure your dog’s chest girth, compare it with the size chart in the images and choose the larger size if your dog falls between two sizes. The range runs from Small through 5XL, covering small puppies through medium, large and XL dogs. Many buyers choose Large or larger, so chest measurement is the useful starting point rather than relying on a breed name alone.

The cut was fit tested on a wide range of dogs and includes room for broad chests, including those of French Bulldogs, pit bulls, English bulldogs and Labradors. It is made for female and male dogs, with a design intended to allow movement without restriction.

• Use chest girth and the image size chart to guide your choice.
• Size up when the measurement falls between two sizes.

What makes this hoodie practical for walks and daily wear?

The fleece-lined interior provides an extra layer for cool and cold walks, while the four-way stretch shell moves with your dog during walks, runs and play. The fabric blend combines polyester, cotton and spandex for a smooth feel on the coat and flexibility through everyday activity. The hoodie can also be worn at home, making it a clothing layer for both indoor and outdoor routines.

A discreet leash opening lets you connect a leash to a harness worn underneath without removing the hoodie. The hooded garment pulls on over your dog’s head and has no fiddly closures, so getting dressed does not involve fastening multiple parts.

• Use the leash opening to reach a harness beneath the hoodie.
• For deep freezes, wear the hoodie underneath a lined winter coat or jacket.

Can my dog wear it in rain, and how do I care for it?

This hoodie is for cool, dry days and is not waterproof; put a dog raincoat over it on wet days. To clean it, machine wash in cold water and line dry. These care steps are intended to help maintain the soft feel of the fabric.

• Machine wash cold.
• Line dry after washing.

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie is suited to dog owners looking for a flexible, fleece-lined layer for everyday walks, play and time indoors, especially for dogs with broader chests. It is designed for cool, dry wear, with a harness-access opening and a fit range from Small to 5XL.
