The hoodie is for cool, dry conditions, not rainy weather; put a dog raincoat over it when it is wet.

What weather is the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie made for?

It is made to add warmth on everyday cool and cold walks, with a fleece lining inside a stretch shell. The fabric is designed to give as your dog moves, so the hoodie can be worn for walks, runs and play. It is not waterproof, and for deep freezes the hoodie is intended as a layer under a lined winter coat or jacket.

• Suitable for cool, dry days.
• For wet weather, wear a dog raincoat over the hoodie.

How should I choose a size for my dog?

Choose from eight sizes, Small through 5XL, and use your dog’s chest girth to select the fit. Measure around the chest, compare the measurement with the size chart in the images, and size up if your dog falls between two sizes. Most buyers choose Large or larger.

• The size range covers small puppies through large and XL dogs.
• The cut is fit-tested on a wide range of dogs and allows room through the chest.
• It is designed for female and male dogs without restricting movement.

How does the hoodie work for everyday wear and walks?

The hoodie pulls over your dog’s head and has a hood, with no closures to fasten. A discreet opening gives access to a harness worn underneath, so you can clip on a leash while the hoodie stays on. The butter-stretch fabric is designed for daily wear through the cold season, indoors or outdoors.

• The sweatshirt-and-sweater style suits both home wear and outdoor outings.
• Cold machine washing and line drying are the care instructions.

This hoodie suits dog owners looking for a soft, movable everyday layer, particularly for dogs with broad chests. It is designed for cool, dry conditions rather than rain, and its fleece lining and 4-way stretch shell make it a practical layer for regular cold-season walks.
